Stopped cultivating?

Hey guys. I had a couple of jars going and after all the contaminations and all I have 2 left. This one right here is in a 250ml jar i believe...a smaller one. And the other is in a 500ml jar I believe.. The one in the bigger jar is growing great so far and is almost done but on the smaller jar it seemed like it paused growing in just this one area.. they have been in there I wanna say a month now but maybe 3 weeks. Is the smaller jar okay to maybe at least put in a terrarium just to see what happens? Does anyone have any ideas of what is happening? temps are around 75 degrees with some indirect sunlight during the day.

Thaaaat doesn't look like cubensis mycelium. Is it threaded, and stringy? Or are there little puffs of white going in between the substrate?

If you could get a better shot of the mycelium we could determine if you've got the species you intended to grow in the jar. I'm just operating on the assumption you wanted to grow psilocybe cubensis.

You need to fill the jars and make a ½" layer of dry vermiculite on the top.

I dont see why air holes would be an issue I made all the air holes on all the jars the same way but I will go in there and try to clear them.... I did put the dry verm layer on top of the small jar... Its been sitting this way for a while and there was a little sign of infection at the top but I scooped it out and I dont see it back yet and that was about a week ago.

Here are some better pics.. Also what is that brown thing in there that looks like just some moisture though not sure...on the smaller jar. its in the 2nd pic about halfway in the jar.

Scooped it out? As in opening the jar and removing it?
And is there only two holes in the lid?

some more pics they are definetly stringy though. There is definitely some moisture on those jars though is that a bad thing? Yes I opened the jar and scooped it out with a spoon sterilized with alcohol. and yes there are 2 holes in the top

Alcohol does not sterilize, it sanitizes. Never open the jar, if it contams its fucked no matter what

Well, I'm pretty sure most of us will agree that your jars are bunk.
Start with viewing RR's "Let's Grow Mushrooms" four parts on PF tek.
http://mushroomvideos.com/
Follow the tek to the letter.

Why would you say both jars are "bunk". On what grounds do you find the other jar bunk?

Well, they look contaminated for starters.
And your sterile technique as described is anything but satisfactory.

How does the big jar look contamintated and I only opened one jar as a lst ditch effort because hey its gone anyways may as well try something. The big jar is doing fine and is growing great! I dont see why everyone is saying there is anything wrong with it. No discolorations in there or anything. And I was wondering if anyone knew why it would stop growing all of a sudden.

You don't have a dry verm layer so you don't have a filter. All kinds of things are gonna get in there, which they already have. You really need to watch those videos and read up on what to use, how and why. This isn't as easy as ABC. Understand the organism, what it does and how it works.
