Well about 20 minutes ago, I awoke from meditation to find a grasshopper sitting quietly on my jeans. I observed it for a minute or two out of wonder, and it looked like it was quite affectionate (It kept moving its butt around and extending this one pointy thing, I don't know the anatomy of grasshoppers well).
It's always nice when a small thing like this reminds you of the beauty and interconnectiveness of nature.

I think there's more than hormones behind this one

Grasshoppers will mate with anything. That's why swarms of locusts devour crops. If we keep you outside you could save all those starving Africans... like pesticide Jesus.

The time I felt most connected to nature I was out at my father's place. It's pretty much in the bush. I was sitting on the steps of his porch, ready to smoke a fat bowl. It's was so peaceful there. I smoked my bowl and laid back with a smile on my face and just stared at the clouds, thinking about how much I love clouds since they danced for me on mushrooms. Then I thought to myself I wonder if these clouds will dance for me again. And I focused on them trying to swirl. Seconds later, exactly where I was looking, this one particular area began to swirl for a few seconds, against the wind. Astonished I sat up and said to myself, "Did that just fucking happen?" I laid back down, thinking about the clouds. To this day they haven't danced for me like that again but now I know they know when I'm watching. I don't know if there's a God. The universe is one.
