Hi, I was strolling through the woods earlier and came across these mushrooms, my mind jumped straight  to psilocybe cyanescens although I have never actually seen them in the flesh before.

They were growing around pine and silver birch in Derbyshire, U.K. Growing from the ground which consisted of dead leaves sticks and a few pine cones. I am doing some spore prints now so will post the results later.

I know these are fairly rare in the U.K but it would be good if they were cyans, if any more info is needed I will try best I can. Any responses will be much appreciated, thanks, Rob.

they are not psilocybe cyanescens

try looking in more urban environments containing woodchips

compare:

Not sure they are that rare. I found some a while ago and this is from the Wikipedia page of the shroom ; "100,000 P. cyanescens fruits were once found growing on a racetrack in the south of England"[6]

Keep on it man
