Ok so I found these growing on a 2 year old pile of woodchips. These were from chipping of trees I had removed. They are a mixture of pine and fruit tree chips. The mushrooms are between 1 and 1 1/4 inch caps they are about 2 inches tall and seen to grow in groups. the stems have a whitish grey coating which wipes to dark brown. the gills are tan or cinnamon. They are moist but not slimy.

I don't think it is kuehneromyces. It doesn't have a "boot" and there is no thick veil or ring. Thought it might be a bluefoot but the spore print is cinnamon. I use the pile to dump my garden refuse so it could have come in on the potting soil with some of my vegetable plants that I through out. We are getting very cold 40 degree nights here and I am at a fairly low elevation.

Definitely not bluefoots, or anything active.  Toss 'em.

there are many things to be learned from all mushrooms...
it's not all about "getting high."

a spore print would help, maybe...
i think it would be brown though.

the habitat, hygrophanous cap and striate margin make me think Galerina (although Tubaria may be another option)...

do not eat them.
