Is it normal for people to break bottles everywhere?

Every day I see broken bottles on the roads, sidewalks, and parking lots of the town that I live in. It's a college town so I assume that 19-22 year old males are getting drunk and breaking bottles everywhere perhaps in an effort to appear manly or edgy.
In the past two weeks, I have discovered two broken bottles in the parking lot near my and my neighbor's cars.
Insufferable cretins. I hope they all choke to death on their own blood and vomit.
What would you do if you saw somebody break a bottle on the ground near your vehicle, or on a place where you drive or ride a bicycle?

When I was a kid I was playing in a ditch and I was going to smash a bottle. For some reason I didn't let go and the bottle smashed whilst still in my hand. I received a laceration on my knuckle. This is why I do not smash bottles. But yeah its pretty bs. I mean one glass bottle could cause up to hundreds of dollars in damage for a biker or driver.

I would ask them nicely to please not do that because you don't want anyone to get cut, or you don't want to pop a tire, that's all if I was by myself.
If I was with a few people I'd tell them to cut that shit out or your going to beat their ass then drag their face across the ground where they just broke the bottle.
Back when I use to live in the city I would see broken glass a lot, there was this one place I always use to pass up that literally was covered in broken glass, it was a parking lot, field, and some sidewalk it was behind a convenient store that specialized in selling alcohol.

It's frat boys. I used to live on a college campus and could not ride my bike within a mile of the frat houses without getting a flat. They seem to largely view the whole world as their trash can.

The people I used to hang out with, it is only normal when we were all drunk and getting in a fight, and a beer bottle was the only thing handy at the time....

Theres this video taken during prohibition where theres this dude with like an entire wagon full of beer bottles, and hes just throwing them against a wall and letting the glass collect on the ground. The pile of glass is probably two to three feet high.
Ive always thought that if it weren't for the fact that the bottles contained delicious beer, I would love to have that job. I would do that shit fo free

This whole thread is stupid. Bottle glass would hardly penetrate a bike tire unless it is poor quality and no way for a car tire.

Typical human faggotry to only consider what kinda tire damage could be incurred by breaking glass.
Animals could easily get infections and die from cutting themselves on broken glass.
But animals are just stupid worthless cattle rite. Foxes are made of string. Think of the tires!

It's territorial behaviour, semi-feral human beings will sometimes mark their territory through the use of vandalism and intimidation; What they destroy they "own".
In the UK up until around the late 1970's, joyriding and car theft was common enough but thieves did not particularly set out to damage cars deliberately. But then gangs from the West Indies and Africa brought over an unsavoury custom from their homelands of stealing cars and burning them; nobody had seen it before but it was a highly visual method of dominating a neighborhood. Now it's an everyday sight.
