couple i.d. request plz :)
    #18959631 - 10/10/13 02:17 PM (10 years, 4 months ago)

#1 I think is Boletus bicolor.... could be the wrong name though...all were found in nwga

#2 found on a hardwood tree

#3 were growing on very old, decayed conifer(I believe) logs...every log I found these on, at the base of the fallen log were russulas and I found probably 20-30 logs...

#4 was growing on forest floor with wood debris around...bolete? or suillus?...I notice it has the brownish fibers on the top of the stipe like suillus but no annulus...??

#5 group was found growing from buried wood debris

#6 found growing under wood debris among the mushrooms in #5...very wet/slimy cap

#7 growing 15-20' in the air, on a hardwood tree...pics crappy, sorry

blue-tailed skink I believe? might be wrong lol...she was friendly though

thanks for looking and any suggestions

#4 has pores and #3 were growing directly from fallen conifer logs, and they have gills....those were the best pics I got, sorry about that.

No chants there...

#11 could be Boletus truncatus or Boletus sensibilis, if not Bi-Color.

Lol...I keep a pen with me in my back pack, and I wanted to draw something on it, but I went to grab it from my bag and I guess the kid got to it...my collection bag, pen, flashlight and a sharp rock chip I keep just in case were all gone!! Now I have to go hunting in my house...again (should have just grabbed a thin stick now that I think about it...guess that's why hindsight is 20/20)
