Aerial myc in a proper SGFC..

Hi guys First post in a while, had a lot of stuff happen in the past while and I haven't really been able to be at this. BUT, I've started another PF cake grow in the past little while and everything seemed to be going great until I put all my cakes in my SGFC. They're really starting to show aerial myc growth and I can't figure out why. I know it's usually caused by lack of FAE, but this is the same SGFC I've used on past grows and this has never happened. The only thing that has changed really is the amount of cakes in the box. And I changed out my perlite since it's been a while and may have added more then last time, but I can't really tell. I mist and fan approx. every 4-6 hours. Or when they just look dry. I'm really confused and don't know where to go from here. Help? I can add pictures if needed

Did you give the cakes in question a full week of consolidation after full colonization before birthing?
Sometimes this can be genetic.

Just the man I was waiting for. Yeah. Of the 10 cakes that are in the SGFC, 8 were pinning by the 7th day of consolidation. I assumed I struck gold from a MS PF grow and hit good genetics. Then this started happening and I've got 4 or 5 mutants going I started to second guess myself. I guess this is what happens when you don't visit the shroomery 1/10th as much as you used too.

i don't beleive ariel myc to be caused by lack of fae, i think the two growths are totally diffrent(one spikey one just fluffy) and i don't believe there is a real known cause for it as it's showed up in all kinds of conditions but for the most part its never done me any harm. just keep up with your mist and fan schedule and keep an eye at the base of your fruits, thats where you will notice the signs of fae issues. gl

Thanks guys. I got a little worried mostly because I read it was an FAE issue so I thought I fucked something up. But that's reassuring.

I mist pretty heavily with a very fine mist, every 4-6 hours usually. Or if they look really dry. These pics were also taken right before I misted.

At the beginning of my current grow, I was experiencing quite a bit of aerial myc. The way I see it, it's almost like the mycelium is still trying to branch out, looking for moisture and nutrients. Once it finds nothing, it settles down and begins pinning. At least that's what happened for me Your cakes are looking swell though, keep it up!

Thanks man! After reading everyone's responses I'm not worried about it at all. Just gonna let them be. Most of them are pinning and pushing out some nice fruit already. I've got some real odd mutants tho, but whatever. First flush MS. Didn't expect to much really. Got another cake dunking now and 2 more consolidating. Hopefully I'll have enough room for them all :\ haha
