i got a jar fully colonized. but it has a spec of what seems to be green or blue twice the size of the tip of a bic pen. could it be possible bruising? the cake has shrunk inside the jar so my theory is its running dry and bruising. what would you think its about 3 days tell dunking.

If it's blue, you're fine. If it's green, it's garbage.
Pics would help

there is another one with like this yellow think like powdery color very faint like you have to really look at it to see. i normally don't post questions about growing since practically every thing there is to know has been stated so hey why not use a life line? im not really worried about them i got plenty going and in fruiting i got a cool little cycle going . and im about to knock up some wheat Berrie jars to start up a bulk grow

I cant really tell from those pics. The lighting leaves a little to be desired.
Is that green speck you are wondering about on the white colonized portion? Or is it on the uncolonized BRF mix?
I dont see anything in those pics, in that lighting, that concerns me too much. Other than that you should use the short half pint jars next time. The deep jars have a tendency to stall.

On second look at the zoom in pic on that second pic. The texture looks a little fuzzy.
I would call it suspect for sure. But better pics in better light are in order.

i have no problem with the jars never have any stall issues. the first pic is the little spec on the colonized area above it is the dry layer of verm. the other pic is from a whole other batch of jars so thats why one is fully colonized and the other is half way
