What to do if you cant find your fans pressure curve

So I am building my first flow hood and I already have a 550cfm vortex fan.I was trying to calculate what heap filters I need so I did the search for a tek and I found the calculations.Only problem is that I cant find the factory specs on my fan to know how many cfms it will put out after it goes through the filters...ideas?

If it's a true Atmosphere vortex fan, it will provide a bit of static pressure. If it's a cheap ass chinese can-fan, forget it.
About all you can do is try it and see if it works. If not, you'll just have to order a furnace blower or obtain a surplus one from a local heat and air shop. RR

It is a true vortex,paid a pretty penny for it to use for cooling my old lights...so you're saying construct the flow hood turn it on and then test it somehow?

If you're worried about the blower or want a bigger flow hood, or a cheaper design... then just build a proper enclosed flow hood. Laminar designs are only best when you want to burn a bunch of money.
