Mostly a Canon 60D with a 100mm EF macro and a wide-angle lens. Thank you for looking, I've been staring at your sig for at least 5 minutes.

Sorry, what you said reminded me of that quote.

Haha, that's the voice I use every time I say it. Usually people don't catch the reference and the dookie twinkle part gets me some weird looks.

So I've been hammering NatGeo.com with my best-of-the-best shots, and it's been working quite well.
2 of my shots have made the top 2 pages (around the top40 shots) out of 1,555,000 submissions!
Which to me, is an extraordinary accomplishment. If I can get a shot or two awarded or published it will help me catapult my photography career to a financially sustainable level, and get me on the road(and out of this literal hell) even sooner.

If anyone would like to support the effort, take a look, favorite a pic or two, leave a comment.
http://yourshot.nationalgeographic.com/profile/354776/

You may have to create an account to do so, but I wouldn't expect you to do that.
Fully appreciate any help.

I have some shots to add tonight as well!
Be back soon friends.

Thanks DG!

Here is what I got tonight, from my own backyard

This is really cool, I have a water trough in my back yard that I let all the frogs lay their eggs into, and I don't mess with the water, just keep it full.
And recently they've been hatching and forming like crazy...  millions. These macro shots are done just above the waters surface, f/10 iso 100, -2flash, 1/250ss.

Barking tree frog tadpoles and more mature froglings.
I hope you guys love these shots as much as I do

This one I thought would be creative

Those frogs are the shit. They still have tails! Does the trough make a breeding ground for mosquitos too, or do the tadpole keep them under control?

Those tadpoles are sweet, crazy how translucent they look.  And that is how I got the salamanders I have now.  The young neighbor girls put some 'frog eggs' in my little baby pool out back that the dogs use because the puddle they were in was drying up I guess. Then a month later we ended up with a bunch of salamander tadpoles swimming around.
