So!
This fall I've decided to clear my head of any (very little) knowledge of what mushrooms grow in my area and began searching around for little morsels! Being that it's sort of between summer and fall around here, I've only found 3 different species of mushroom (That were numerous enough that I felt okay about picking, and I only spent maybe 2 hours outside, mostly walking to and from location.)
If anyone could give me some IDs for these beauties that would be great! and it would help me out a lot to learn what's growing in my own new backyard. (: I love this hobby.
Number 1:

Habitat: Wood - Found in conifer needle litter with oak leaves mixed in too
Gills: the gills are brownish pores
Stem: Stem is solid with a sort of bulb at the base, 2cm thick.
Cap: Cream colored, domed, smooth.
Spore print color: dropping as we speak.
Bruising: No color change was observed.
Location: Upstate South Carolina.
Number 2:

Habitat: Wood - Found in deciduous woods, growing out of leaf litter by fallen branches. Found in clusters or single large mushrooms.
Gills: brownish with the cap extending slightly further than the end of the gills. the gills stop when they meet the stem.
Stem: Whitish, bulb at the bottom, found growing in clusters from the bulb.
Cap: Cream to brown around the edges, slight funnel shape, smooth.
Spore print color: no data yet.
Bruising: No color change was observed.
Location: Upstate South Carolina.
Number 3: (Suspected Boletus edulis, but probably not)

Habitat: Wood - Found in conifer needle debris on the ground, solitary near Number 1
Gills: very tiny spongelike pores, yellow in color
Stem: Whitish, speckled brown, longer than cap about 2cm thick.
Cap: Small, convex, smooth, cream to light brown.
Spore print color: No data
Bruising: No color change was observed.
Location: Upstate South Carolina.

Sorry to bump the thread this early, Number one has olive colored spores. Number two has off-white colored spores. Number two: Clitocybe clavipes?
A test with ammonia with number 1 seems to indicate that it is Boletus illudens, flesh reacted with ammonia, flashing blue-green then turning brown.
