All drugs are legal, some are just more controlled than others. Takes a long time to get all the paperwork filed so that you can have them.
Just go get some LSD and call it a day.

So in terms of getting it from vendors, do I have to order it from a different country? And then regarding what you said about consumption, how are these substances actually sold legally?
I'm very confused. I'm researching this online as I post, and all I'm really understanding is the level of control under the Federal Analog Act.

They're sold as "research" chemicals. Meaning they are intended for laboratory research, not consumption. It's just a loophole to get by the federal analogue act which only says you can't possess it for the intent of consuming it. Theoretically they have no way to determine if you intend to consume it unless you have it weighed out in doses. Sometimes companies will label it as "ion-exchange" blotters to get by this when it's a potent chemical that can't be delivered in powder form.
As for where you order it from, it just depends what drug you're ordering and who you order it from. There are many vendors within the US and canada. Some RC's that are newer tend to only be available through european vendors for a while. But it really just comes down to the market and who's producing what as well as local drug laws. Most chemicals can be bought from many different countries.

Nope. "The law explicitly states that there are four criteria, any of which will exclude it from becoming an analogue; if it is already a controlled substance, if it has an approved drug application, if a particular person has an exemption allowing him investigational use of that drug in question, or it is not intended for human consumption". Using it for purposes other than consumption exclude it from falling under this act

Wow, you're right, sorry about that. However, I think there's more to it. I don't think that a simple label or note in the box its shipped in completely protects the buyer. I'm also especially having a hard time believing that if something is chemically very similar to a controlled substance that this would work.

theres a lot of 25i floating around Houston right now. be careful though, a friend of a friend just died of a stroke from taking 25i. and he only took two blotters. i guess maybe someone laid the hits wrong or else he just had a negative interaction. regardless it's sad. I refuse to buy RCs from street dealers.

Well, you're never safe. That's a given with legal highs. It can be as legal as breathing oxygen, but once some biased judge or cop sticks their nose in there and distorts the law all promises are lost.
