Let's Make A Deal!!!!

Contestant One is Barry O. Number 2 is the Senate... Number 3 is the house...
And what's behind door 1? More spending! Business as usual!! Borrow more money and run those fucking printing presses!
Contestant one, two, and three get together and throw a few bones in the form of handouts to the peons in the masses, to make it look like the audience gets something.
then they all fall down on their hands and knees and suck each others dicks, congratulating each other on making such a fabulous deal that keeps the government running.

Discuss.

Yes, we can't help anyone who needs it. That would be evil.

If they have money to run 240 military golf courses during the shutdown I dont want to hear bullshit about helping anyone. Because they got money, they just aren't spending it the right way.
What's evil is borrowing and spending so much money that in 20 years everyones kids and grandchildren will need help because the fucking assclowns--both parties--in Washington destroyed the country.

What ever, its a congress and government you and the people elected, and I don't think its peons that are sapping our country dry, and duh spending is going up, but cutting and slashing isn't the panacea to that problem, its more complex then you think. Who wants to cut shit until it affects who ever personally, they give a fuck about a shutdown until it affects them personally. Just like im sure congressman can give a fuck whether a working family will have WIC, or that USDA inspections is slashed. Generally why would anyone care unless they personally got salmonella because of it which funny of enough 200 people were sickened by a recent outbreak, but whatever. Go with the false narrative that both sides do it, but the fringe republican tea party morons need to take personal responsibility for the Government shutdown, it was their plan, and it was their move. Everyone is sick of the talking points.

two hundred people sickened by it. In spite of government inspections. Education is fucked up...in spite of the Department of Education...etc...etc....you see a pattern?
Governemt gets involved in something, spends a lot of money, and the problem still gets worse...so they want more government to fix it.

Yeah, imagine if there weren't government inspections? Imagine if the CDC group that works on these kinds of thigns hadn't been working with 40 staff members instead of their regular 300?

The golf courses are self-sustaining, they don't need gov't money to stay open.
Anybody who complains about our debt doesn't understand how our nation is built on debt. We have debt because so many other countries use our currency as a reserve currency. The only thing that could make the debt become important, is defaulting on it.

You think the federal government has been spending more than a trillion dollars more a year on average since Obama than it takes in because other countries use the US dollar as their reserve currency?

I'm saying our government can do that kind of a thing in a recession/depression because it is so widely prevalent as a reserve currency.

We aren't in either a recession or a depression and haven't been for quite a few years. And yet the debt explodes every year. Maybe an annual trillion dollars of means tested largesse given away every year might be the problem.

The debt isn't exploding, and the deficit has been reduced the fastest in over 50 years. This won't ever make sense to you though, because you have an unjustifiable hate for Barack Obama. Your shit graph that hasn't been updated, and shows the last Bush budget (FY2009) budget as Obama's, and the last Clinton budget (FY2001) as Bush's

You do realize that "it is so widely prevalent as a reserve currency" is coming under pressure in the global market place, many countries are bypassing the US dollar for trade settlement and are using their own currencies (China, Russia, Brazil, ect).
Every few months another global deal is made to eliminate the US dollar for transactions, and therefore reducing its reserve status.
So yes, "our nation is built on debt" does have ramifications, mostly negative in the long term.

The debt isn't exploding?
Quote:
The national debt grew by $750 billion during the first 11 months of fiscal 2013,
Congress sets spending. There was a Dem Congress since the 2006 elections. That just ended in 2010 but is still only half Republican.

I like your specious logic. Obama ran deficits 2 to 3 times higher every year than any other president in history. Then when the fiscal deficit for a year is reduced a few hundred billion (still higher than any other presidents yearly deficits) everyone sucks Obama's dick because he is lowering the deficit?????

And most of the birdbrain republicans are right with him. They don't want to miss out when the pork gets shoveled out.

In my Ochem classes getting a 40% on tests would mean you had one of the highest grades in the class. It's all about perspective.

Nobody is handing me anything.
Democratic presidents create more jobs. Huge deficit spending started under the Reagan administration. Huge expansion of the Federal Government and creation of structural deficit is GWB's legacy, and all you can do is whine about Obama and "libtards."

Dems have already made a 'DEAL'
The continuing resolution (CR) being debated was proposed by none other than Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) himself in July. Boehner’s proposed CR number was the compromise position. The Democrats agreed to a budget $220 billion below the president’s request and almost $100 billion below the previously Senate passed budget. Hell, the House GOP budget CR currently being referred to as the “clean” bill is more than $100 billion below the Paul Ryan budget proposal. It’s $2 billion below George W. Bush’s last budget proposal, meaning that if we pass it, we would be funding government at 2008 levels — that’s hardly a position Democrats are happy with.

Democrats already compromised multiple times in the months leading up to the shutdown in an effort to avoid it. They agreed to the Republican budget number and requested that the GOP sit at the table to help target the cuts or negotiate their implementation, Republicans refused 19 times. To then turn around and claim Democrats refuse to negotiate because Republicans demand they undo a law passed by Congress, upheld by the Supreme Court, and ratified by popular vote in the last presidential election is neither a reasonable nor a sane position.

Presidents don't create jobs and this one certainly hasn't. Huge expansion of federal government is FDR's legacy and his poodle Congress. Reagan had a Dem Congress. I keep repeating this but it seems to fall on either deaf ears or broken brain. Congress sets spending. Bush's last two years had Dems in control of both sides of Congress. Then Obama got in and still the Dems had control of both sides of Congress. In 2010 the people said what the fuck this sucks and took back the people's chamber.
You like federal government expansion, right? How come you don't vote Republican if they expand the federal government like you say they do?

Looks to me like it's 19B more than Ryan. I have no idea what "original" Ryan budget means. I would also point out that he isn't the king. How come Obama gets to undo the law that was passed by Congress and mostly upheld by the SCOTUS?
The obamacare act was never ratified by popular vote. It never would have passed if it had to be.
