Sure there is, it's called "capitalism"...

OP, just shroom or acid up, and interact at length with whatever animal you're curious about. In that empathic state you'll "get" much more about how they feel and interact with the world.

Also, try not to have sex with it

I think capitalism is the machine experience, if you want to be a machine, try that operating system: pure thought existence

Reduced ego(acceptance OS) is the animal experience IMO, pure experience without thoughts

neither is optimal in a society , for living too much as thoughts creates suffering
living too little with thoughts create problems too

balance is good

switching OS is not easy, it will take a very long time to process, and change your life

if you want to get balance support you can install acceptance OS(reboot the brain) and install buddhism too
but then it's not the full animal experience... for buddhists don't live as desires, they live in moderation

a cold reboot/deprogramming of the brain can be done with egodeath on any psychedelic, that's about as close to animal existence as you can get

Today I watched an orang methodically rip lengths of paper towels off the roll and hang them from a branch.  She would adjust them and make certain both sides were equal.  Later she took all 8 or 9 pieces and made a scarf out of them before becoming bored with the whole affair.  Animals have personalities and perceptions and its the most fascinating thing ever

So much anthropocentrism up in here. Accept that you're already an animal, you're already an ape, a mammal, with virtually the same body plan as every other mammal.

You don't need a drug to become an animal, obviously. Any hallucination that makes you think you're an "animal" isn't a hallucination at all. The hallucination is thinking it's a hallucination.
