I know nothing bout your puffball. Perhaps it is because it as gone over in another thread alread? :shrug.
You ate it and did not get sick right? That might narrow it down.

Wait. did you edit your OP? I am now confused.
I thought you were wanting another puffball identified.
I do not know what those two are. One is a stalked puffball. That narrows it down.
The only way I could figure this out are the same avenues you would use. Google.

Puffballs are pretty hard to ID past the Giant Puffball and the Common Puffball i think.

I feel like I messed up not getting a 100% ID on the puffball only. I feel great since eating it so I think its safe. Symptom of my bipolar disorder are hypomania (think Im invinceable) and anxiety/paranoia. Even though I feel fine Im doubting my stupid decision to eat it without knowing FOR SURE what kind of puffball it is. I was told on here by someone that the rule with puffballs is if its white inside you can eat it. If its blackish purple its not safe to eat. Given the facts: 1. It tastes like the Calvatea gigantea I ate once before. 2. It has a stalk (barely a stem) indicator of puffbal sp. 3. I cross sectioned it and it has no mushroom shape in the middle like the infamous destroying angel. 4. I looked up Calvatea cyathiformis and seen some pics of it that had the same brown cracked exterior before consuming.
