Anyone ever done/tried this?

So basically ive been thinking of something that would satisfy my OCD with monotubs. Imagine how flat the bottom of a colonized monotub "cake" would be. has anyone ever been able to pull it out and flip it upside down, sideways, etc? I'd imagine sideways would give much more surface area for fruiting. just a thought.

Its been done before, but as trays, because its easier. Flipping it in the mono tub won't do anything.

Use the search function and look around. People colonize trays, remove them, and birth them as huge bricks in their tents. Pretty cool to see, should check it out

:whathesaid:

Proper fruiting conditions IMO are way more important than something like surface area. FAE RH and then light, temperature are all going to get you the most out of your substrate.

This.

Having a flat surface area is not really going to give you a noticeable difference in yield. Work on the big 3 first, FAE RH and light.
