Looks like Hypholoma, maybe H. capiodes for the first, and Armillaria mellea group for the second.

Tangich is correct on the second one too. Or at least it's an Armillaria species for sure.

In both of the Armillaria pictures there appears to be a ring on the stem, pointing to A. mellea. OP, although these pictures feature fairly distinctive and common mushrooms, you should post much bigger pictures to get a surer ID.

Good point Joie, if they weren't common and distinctive the OP would likely not have gotten such speedy results. Other than that these requests were fairly well written though!

That's what I thought at first as well, but take a closer look at the second picture, that's a split stipe, and not a ring. That's why I said A. tabescens, but it could easily be A. mellea.

I see that. It still looks very much like a ring in the first shot but that's why I put to OP that his pics just aren't big enough!

In the first of the pictures one is plain to be seen in the solitary specimen, and appears to be just visible in a couple on the cluster.

Thanks so much for the ID's.
I have been hunting for a few days here and there and I had hoped to find some Cyanescens. As these were so abundant I did think they would not be the cyanescens I wanted.
still I think I am on the right track. I have found these and dried them as I do believe they are cyanescens. they showed the distinctive blueing on the stem when bruised.

I will keep on trekking about my area. I'm sure I will find something before the season ends. The Libs are nice but i find there's fun to be had looking as well. thrill of the chase and all that.
to everyone who replied many thanks.

They might be, but I am not seeing enough distinctive features to say it isn't an Agrocybe or something. (Cheers for bigger shots though!) Did you take any pictures in situ?

I do have a few I think.

I also have put some other pics of nice mushrooms I have come across.
I feel the last pic is of some old eaten amanita's. I am not sure if they are usable though. Any thoughts appreciated.

here are the other interesting finds
