Need help identifying

To start, I am COMPLETELY NEW. I have a very very basic sense of what i'm doing and these mushrooms I picked pretty much fit the habitat, general look and etc. I have no expert knowledge and I'm looking to learn anything.
I am fairly sure that these are not magic mushrooms, I just would like advice. Such as, do these look anything like what I should be looking for? Am I looking in the right place? Should I look near these mushrooms?
Habitat: Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc.
Found in a grass field about 200 feet in diameter, surrounded completely by woods. There were deer droppings scattered across the field. Found while raining, in Eastern Washington.
Gills: Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.
White gills that are attached to the top.
Stem: Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.
Rougly 2 inches. White, smooth texture, solid, thick.
Cap: Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.
About an inch and a half. Smooth texture, spherical shape. Convex shape. The color is light brown and gets darker towards the middle.
Spore print color: Very important!
I am in the middle of getting the spore print, it is set up so far.
Bruising: Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.
No bruising.
Other information: Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.

Clitocybe tarda at a guess.
--------------------
Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

Just don't take that as a positive ID.

I never did sample the ones I found. I don't know that anybody has settled the edibility question for them.
