I met a woman on the internet from Alatyr, Russia, and we have been corresponding since early Sept. We have a lot in common, and she already wants to "be" with me. She has even looked into getting a visa and plane ride. I think the lady is going a little fast. Does anyone have any experience in online dating from foreigners, particularly Russian women? I said that I would come over there to visit her - I just am not ready to have a Russian woman living with me yet. Anybody got any advice?

meeting someone and having them move in are ver4y different. I live in New England and met a chick from Scotland. We were involved for about year and a half. I went there a few times. It didn't last but it was some of the best times of my life. I spent a month there over Christmas and New Years at one point. Truth is she may want to be with you, or you with her, but you cant very well know without actually meeting in person. Life is short bro don't waste it. If you meet her and don't want it no harm no foul. she lives in Russia, pretty easy to break things off if u ask me. Not like your gonna see her at Walmart lol

This....beware, there is a black market thing going on right now with women in countries from the old Soviet Union. They are desparate to get out and many pay what little they have to "brokers" that have paperwork ready to cheat unsuspecting Americans looking for something too good to be true......It is.
Stick with traditional means for meeting women. M

Advice? Try searching for her details on the internet to see if you can find her on a scamwatch website. There are a great many Russian women supposedly looking for love on the web - it's common for them to ask you to pay for a flight so they can come visit you, then to suddenly pull out or even disappear completely once they receive your money. Offering to go visit her is also very risky - you could find yourself robbed and dumped somewhere by whoever is operating the scam, if that's what it is.
Try offering to buy a flight for her and to send her the tickets. If she says she can get them cheaper at her end or uses some other excuse to have you send the money to her, she is almost certainly a scammer.

Also, meet her on neutral ground somewhere in between, in Europe. Maybe Germany for 2 weeks. She will be able to travel there easily, it won't cost you a lot for her travel and you get a nice trip out of it regardless.
