Since nobody knows, I'm going to assume it is and brew it into tea with the others

It could possibly be Galerina... Do not be so hasty!

Use your logic my friend. "i don't know what this is and no one is responding so I'm going to eat it"... You should make a spore print and fill out an ID request, I'd hate to see you get hurt something stupid.

I could use a spoor print and some more info... Gymnopilus sapineus can be be mistaken for Galerina.

That was an id Request. It seems redundant for me to write down its color and size when there's a picture. I'll take a spore print if it's necessary

Your opinion of the color can mean a lot cause you have it in front of you. It can look like a completely different shade depending on the flash, lighting, etc on the computer screen.

I'll post the print once the spores fall. It'll be a couple of hours. In the meantime, could a TI confirm that these are G. Liquiritiae? Another poster said they were. I'll hook you up with 5 shrooms since I'm being a turkey.
