They were the shiznit. Some of them probably still have bits of shiznit attached.

Well seeing as my tolerance is retarded right now I'm going to have to wait on eating the pans. I wish I could eat some and actually have visuals but more than likely I won't and I'll just be pissed again. So I'm going to wait a week or 2 then trip fucking face

sorry 2 chime in, I just love the fact that cyanescens are very active and grow in huge numbers close to each other. Assuming this winter is the ideal climate, what do you think that chance is of finding cyanescens on a wooded river side in Central CA? (92 miles from san francisco.)

wrong cyanescens.
for Psilocybe cyanescens, your chances will be 100% if you change your focus to landscaped areas with woodchips and do not give up. They will be good that you'll have success faster if you head over to the bay area.

I consider my mother loads to be in between the 1-2kg mark, which I would pick every other day while waiting at the fish and chip shop for my order to cook. It almost became a drag "ugh....do I have to pick a kilo today?" It was almost like weeding a garden.
I'll show myself out.....time for some sleep. ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz................
p.s Are you sure they're Cyans?

There is a couple patches of paps in my field but I just pick so quick I don't have time to look at the gills to see if they are molted or not and I don't look for bruising until I get in the car but every time I get halfway through picking, my pick box looks like I spilled grape juice all over my shrooms. They are legit cyans.

Just let that tolerance come down like you said! Its so worth it... I always try and wait about 2 weeks between trips. If you don't have tolerance and have a god experience, it leaves you feeling "set," and you won't feel the need to trip again for 2 weeks-1 month.

You can do it! Just make sure you're alone and in an environment that will allow you to relax and let the mushroom take over. One can either use the mushroom to their own agenda, or allow the mushroom to carry out its agenda. The latter has always yielded for me a spiritual/mystical experience, which is what it sounds like you're after?

Then you're going to need to sit still, shut up, and close your eyes. Let it take its course. Are you familiar with the method McKenna suggests? Dosage is part of the equation, but being in silent darkness is another huge part of it. Also, ganja is a huge factor for me.

I always have some good nug on hand but it doesn't seem to add to the effect for me at all. Probably do to the fact that I smoke an 1/8th a day.

Start making bud butter and eat it instead of smoking to enhance your experience. Or cook it in peanut butter, strain it, and use that to make pb&jay.

I can't really offer too much advice on dosage for cubensis or cyans. Bloodworm said something like 12-14 grams, but that's insane. I would start with an eighth. ZERO tolerance taken the method explained. If you feel you need more before it "pulls" you into another place I'd go ahead and do what McKenna swears by and do 5 grams dry (cubensis). I'm not a McKenna douche. I swear. I just know the guy had a lot of experience using ayahuasca and mushrooms in a shamanistic undertaking, and really knew how to elicit a mystical, "otherworldly" experience. If you smoke too much weed, try smoking a little tobacco. If you can get it, smoke some Rustica. You should really grow your own. Its amazing to puff a few times during your trip because it contains beta-carbolines (MAOI). If you can't get rustica, fine. Just get ahold of some good tobacco for god's sake. Sacred stuff.

12-14 g of what?? That IS insane. Most normal people, as in non-seasoned shroomers, will only share an 1/8th of cubes with a friend. The micro-dose, which is more like a helping of peaceful tolerance doused in a delicious mild-euphoria gravy, does have its merits--especially if you need to maintain a bit of functionality about you.

I pretty much can't stand more than 2 grams dry of P. caerulescens (weilii) without being sucked into voids everywhere I turn. Lol. Its good to know I've got the ability to "lift off" with very little fuel. Its not like I have a low tolerance either. It seems that as the years have progressed, I've "learned" how to tap into my own senses more and end up needing less and less each time to achieve desired results. I guess the next step would be to start really meditating and see if I can achieve any transcendent states without the aide of a psychedelic. Once that's achieved, then I'll take a really heroic dose. Lol. My first time taking a "heroic" dose was just wack. I had little to no experience with heady psychedelic spaces, and just blacked out for a lot of the experience. I'm sure a lot happened I don't have any recollection of. Since then, I've achieved way more on far less. I couldn't imagine taking a bowl full of mushrooms again.

Actually, I think its the dabblers who end up kinda whacky. Its like, you can either dose big and get to have an experience as to what it would be like to be a mushroom(then you'll be set for awhile), or you nibble mushrooms all day every day and turn into a walking talking mushroomhead. To each his own. I like taking far out journeys, then returning. Others may tend to want to walk around loaded and see what that's like. Idk. there really aren't as many hippies here as there are in the PNW. Lol. Sorry about your patch being raped tho... I'd get some rabid animal to guard it. Or a snake. Or a Pterodactyl.

Sounds perfect. Even down to the dose. I believe if I were to take Pan cyans, semilanceata, or mexicana I would shoot for that 1.5 g. dry mark for my first time.

That's a good sign! Just remember that you need to set aside about 3 days for this trip. A day before to set yourself up with the right mindset and place to do your session, the entire day to actually take the trip, and then the following day to relax, write, and integrate the new experience. DO NOT rush this. If you have things going on in your life that need attention, give it to them. You will know when the time is right, and you won't feel nervous. One does not try mushrooms. One does them. You have your reasons why you are doing this. If it be for recreation, fine. If it be to scientifically explore what the substance does to your body, cool. But know this... Often times people are drawn to the mushroom for reasons they haven't fully rendered consciously. A lot of people with habits, OCD, etc., can go through some rough times during the psychedelic experience, but knowing that these things can be used like a personal therapist, you can really make some headway in your understanding of your Self and its place aside others'.

She said there was a tornado with a vortex that was sucking everything up and out of the house through the roof and it felt as though it was sucking the life and breath right out of her but I was watching her hyperventilate!! She was tripping soooooooo hard. The next morning she rolled over and said that she discovered the meaning of life!
This is the thing, if someone doesn't understand that these things can "suck" you into other places, you wind up fighting and resisting it, trying to hold onto feeling like a normal breathing, living human. It doesn't work. You will end up freaking out like your lady! You need to understand that these things will take you to unimaginable, unspeakable places, and let them do just that. I am sorry your lady had to go through that unexpected experience, but it sounds like it ended up being a positive thing in the end. I'd like to note also that many times when this exact thing happens to people, and they fight it, they label it as a "bad" experience. If you go with it and let it take you on the other hand, you will be shown things you never even knew possible. Most peoples' "bad trip" is actually the best trip ever in disguise.

For sure, she tried 3.5 of regular cubes a week later and didn't get past level 2. Tolerance seems to build really fast with shrooms.
