partially rotted caps

Finally one of my cakes is taking off, slowly and some of the bigger ones, which are still tiny, don't seem to have veils. mostly from the side they fruited, but than some started poking out the bottom, I lifted it up and there were a bunch more pins. (RH I know) days later, today, a couple aborts turning slimy black, that's fine. but a couple others which aren't aborts but touching the foil barely if at all, have maybe 1/4 cap with the same kind of rot, don't know if I should take these off, I don't think I should, but the rot could spread? or maybe cuticle scissor the rot part, or just let it be, will they heal and be okay? I REALLY want this one to work out, been at it for MONTHS!! so I flipped the cake, took the worst abort off, now they are pinning from the top, so the rest wont rot, mixed opinions about flipping I know. what should I do about those partially rotted? in my search I found an old thread that everyone said eating the black capped aborts was fine. really? the slimy bacterial seeming thing?

Aborts are ok to eat. Pictures would really help though.

Nothing on an abort is going to rot enough to ruin the cake before you harvest the rest. Pick off the aborts when you get the large fruits. Leave the non-aborts as pins for second flush are often set at the same time as first flush. Just leave the ones on the bottom to push out and grow. They'll do it fine. RR

ok, thanks for the answers. I think I figured out how to upload pics, took a minute. so the consensus is leave them be? I think there was excess moisture from heavy spraying on the bottom, which caused the rotting, just wasn't sure if I should be attempting something with them. and they will be okay to eat, anytime from now till they finish?
the only thing I could figure out to do was upload a pic to my profile, but cant figure out how to get the pic to the post, sorry, il keep trying, but you should be able to see the pic there.

alright, I wanted to revive this, considering this flush has passed, and I have some other cakes in the sgfc that are starting to take off finally, I have two terrariums right next to eachother, and the ones in this one all get little black rotting spots, I might have a couple healthy looking ones, cant remember, cant look right now, but what the heck? had a gorgeous really big one growing, than on the other side theres a rotting part like the pic above. would really like some advice if its ok, are these going to end up being just fine to eat? just a little rotted away, but no big deal? or is this like a bacterial contam that is in this sgfc? because the smaller one next to it seems to be doing just fine. I think it may have been caused by to much water. any opinions?
