How to move on from buying syringes

Could anyone suggest the best technique for creating your own syringes from your own mushies? I've looked into LC, G2G, and spore prints. I'm thinking LC is the best way to go, but it seems like I have to be quite sterile and I do not have a glove box.
Any advice is much appreciated!
Thanks,
Mini

LC is worst way to go. make your own prints from many good teks on this site.
and swab spores on agar.
agar is much more easier than lcs and alot more foolproof.
mycosupply is my fave sponsor on this site for all my mycological supplies.
also anyone who recommends LC for new people is a liar

PDA is an agar that you just add water to pc in empty 1liter whiskey bottle and pour in dishes.
easier than making jello.
also anyone who tells you LCs are easier to make are also liars.

If you're wanting to use syringes just get a print and make your own inside a SAB. Use the search function to figure out how to make them. Also I'd suggest staying away from LCs, especially when you're first starting out (especially LC from spores). They are more trouble than they are worth and you can't tell if they're clean just buy looking at them, you would need to shoot up a couple test jars and if it ends up dirty then you're back to square one and wasted a bunch of time which can be very discouraging.

Aaa fuck that, I put 3 teaspoons of Karo in a water bottle and add 300ml of boiling water. (Obviously you have to wait about 6 hours before you can inoculate the now shriveled up water bottle )

yes but if youre noccin up with dirty spores you still have to run a test jar.
the best way to do lc is with clean agar wedge but why do that when you can just throw wedge in to a sterilized grain jar and shave off at least 1.5 weeks of work?

I'm personally going to store more prints than I need and I'm determined to master Liquid Culture because even though I'm new to fungi their has to be a positive reason all the veterans are recommending LC to me.

Yeah....just get LC out of your mind if you are an inexperienced cultivator. Unless you have a flow hood or VERY good sterile technique in a SAB, it's not even worth the time to attempt it. All it is, is a HUGE risk that is totally unnecessary. Learn to use agar first...this is the way we transfer away from any potential contaminates as well as isolate sub-strains of various species. IF you are truly new and need to learn...follow the pf tek.

The only way I can think of for commercial growers to risk their business on an LC is if it were made from a known to be contam free culture. Like an agar wedge.
I bet money it's not being made straight from MS, whether it be a print or syringe.

I've made 8 jars of LC from 8 different sponsor syringes, every single one clean. I've since moved to agar but my LC experience was positive. Good luck.

yes this would be the best way to do an LC but why wait for it to colonize an LC when you can throw it straight into grains and g2g from there.
and cut off a ton of time waiting for the wedge to colonize an lc.
throw clean wedge into grain jar and g2g and save a week minimum

btw ive had luck with lc as well but i just did it for fun with a clean wedge and it seemed to me like it is a total unecesarry step.
agar is just as easy as making jello and saves you tons of time
i dunno about you but my time is worth alot
