Does this sound bad?
    #18954557 - 10/09/13 02:10 PM (10 years, 4 months ago)

I was chilling outside and i suddenly got a sharp pain under my tongue. It was as if something
had bit me. Immediately after that, the gland/lymph-node under my jaw, on the right side of my
neck started to hurt. Then it began to swell up. That wouldn't be strange if i was sick, but i'm not.

Do you guys think that's normal, or should i see a doctor?

I personally would tell a doc, does it still hurt? How long ago was this?

According to WebMD it's either an allergic reaction or very advanced brain cancer.  My condolences.

I've had something similar happen to me.  I was chillin in my apartment one day and noticed a pain under my tongue, and there was a little swelling in the same area as yours.  After 30-45 minutes the swelling had increased dramatically and was quite visible upon looking in the mirror.  My tongue felt like it was cramping up.  I thought it may have been from a bite or an allergic reaction but it felt strange and I wasn't sure if I should call a doctor.  I waited another 30 minutes to see if it got worse but the swelling went down and disappeared completely about an hour and a half after first noticing it.

I never ended up going to see a doctor, but I was fine and the whole ordeal was over in under 2 hours.  That being said, you should see a doctor if you're worried.

Weird shit, It's kind of soar but the swelling seems to have gone down.

How strange.

I drank a hornet that was in my black coffee the other day, and it stung the shit out of my tongue.

Did you happen to notice if you had any hornets in your mouth?

I love hornets with my coffee :tongue2:

I get pains under my tongue too sometimes Legend.
Its much more of a deep throbbing pain than a sharp pain, though. Never knew why, always slips my mind at the doc.

Have you been taking any powdered drugs orally or sublingually?
Under the tongue is a very sensitive area.
