So I've been living in a tent for the past five years and this is my first time posting in a very long time. I've used the web a few times when I stumbled across a library and I needed a place to escape from the elements but I think that this is my very first post to any forum in many, many moons. So, a few questions....
Is OMAR still here? Did we ever figure out if you can smoke psilocybin to any effect? What happened to Homestar Runner? Do people still use the term "noob"? Can I still have friends if I don't have a Myface page?
Thanks for yuns hep

Well, it wasn't always a tent. Sometimes it was my hammock, sometimes a buddy's couch during the winter in the northwest. I lived in my little brother's grow house when I was in Cali. But basically I lived as a homeless vagabond, staying off the trails in local, state and national parks. I got chased out of many places by rangers and game wardens. Once, during hunting season in n. Carolina a stray bullet went straight through my tent while I slept. I did odd jobs; landscaping, tossing pizza dough, playing harmonica and guitar with dozens of bands for pocket money, sometimes when I was camping fairly close to a job I'd rent out my jeep and ride my bike. Occasionally I'd work as a camp host in a state park, staying for free, getting free water, electricity and laundry privelages in exchange for picking up trash around campsites, chopping firewood and running the gift shop. Then I'd go to town in the evenings and bartend. A couple years ago, I finally bought a pop-up camper but it was recently totalled when some bitch rear-ended me on the highway. Do not text and drive! Recently I've been hiking the Appalachian trail in sections, usually 50 - 70 miles at a time. A few weeks ago in Virginia , I had just finished a particularly strenuous stretch of 60 miles when I set up camp and began preparing my victory meal. A can of clam chowder was one of the heaviest items in my pack. As soon my little propane burner got that can good and hot, I was approached by two teenage black bears. They're the fearless ones that don't yet have their own territory and make a habit of forraging in trash cans and camp sites. So I took a few spoonfulls of soup and left the can on the ground as I quickly abandoned camp and watched from a distance as the two bears fought over my chowder. I was starving and damn tired of beef jerky and trail mix so I decided to try and hitch a ride to the closest fast food joint. The first vehicle to stop was a husband and wife in a dump truck with a load of old mattresses they had removed from a closed down hotel. The man told me that if I didn't mind riding in the back on top of the mattresses, that he'd happily give me a ride into town. I was hesitant at first but eventually agreed. He lowered the bucket enough for me to climb in and off we went. The beds were in surprisingly good condition and I had probably the best thumbing experience I've ever had. That night I ate two double whoppers and stayed in a $50 a night motel where I was eaten alive by fleas or bed bugs. I don't know the difference.

Other than being 32 and having no job resume to speak of......no. And yeah, I thinked I helped a few people with their extractions. My. Collection of cacti has grown into the hundreds; mostly Pedro! bridgesii and Peruvian. My friends and family have been watching them for me and helping them multiply. Unfortunately, all my peyote died a few years ago in an early October cold snap. Hopefully the root stock is still good ( as they appear to be firm and healthy ) and will one day sprout again.
