Advice on wbs colonization, w/pics (hoping i didnt screw up)

Hi. Sorry to bother you all but I am worried about my project and thought I had perhaps better seek some more experienced veiwpoints lol.
I inoculated 10qt jars of wbs with multispore syringes. Using 3cc's of innoculant per jar. I used doc34's wbs tek to prepare the the jars ( found here http://www.shroomery.org/9030/Doc34-s-Wild-Bird-Seed-Tek ). Ten days after inoculation I shook up the wbs and spread the colonized grains throughout the jars. I had about a 25% colonization ratio. All good so far right? )
Heres where my worries come into play. Ive waited another 14 days since then and though as you can see in the pic's below things did spread well at first and I was very happy but the mycellium seems to have stopped spreading. I have seen no mycellial growth in the last 2-3 days at all and from everything that ive read It shouldnt be taking this long. The jars are kept in a secure light proof tote at 80-82 degrees. My question is should i keep waiting or did I perhaps messup on the simmer or soemthing rendering some of the grains inviable? Heres some pics:

2-3 days is nothing. Be patient. If they haven't shown any more growth in a week or so, try to shake them again to see if they recover. And remove the foil from the middle picture, you're choking the myc.
It does look a little weird though, your seeds have clumped together, and some are stickin on the walls of your jar.
First pic looks the best of the three. 3cc is a bit much, you want your grains to be dry on the outside.
All you can do is wait and hope, and why not start a new grow while you're waiting?

K. Thanks space. Well i havent started another wbs grow just cause im out of quart jars and liquid culture lids lol. Have to run to wally world. I do also have another 24 pint pf tek jars going though. Ive had several successful runs with that style. This is my first bulk attempt. I actually left the foil on all of my quarts too. Just cause thats the way i was doing it with the pf tek due to the nail hole lids instead of the liquid culture lids that i baught for the quarts. But makes sense that i can get rid of it now on those lids since they have the self healing injection ports and hepa gas exchange filters.
Thanks again for the reply and Ill try to be patient . Aswell as try to perfect "feild capacity" on my next run lol.

All of the above is good advice, also if you will put them in a container of their own like a rubbermaid with a lid, you can maybe do a "smell check" after 24 hours and see if anything funky is outright noticeable when you open the lid. Silly but sometimes effective. GL

I'm not sure I get what you mean by "liquid culture lids"
Pf-tek jars uses a dry verm barrier as your protection from outside contams, and there should be no need to keep the foil on them even if you stuck the needle through the micropore tape if you used it.
Grain jars, as you say you have with ship and ge-filter, are protected by.. the ge filter. hehe.
I'd say to make sure your grains are completely dry on the outside before you pc them. I dry them in a colander/strainer first, tossing them around while steaming hot. Then I lay them out over a large towel, and brush my hand over them with 20mins waiting between each brush. This is done to turn them around and make sure they're drying on all sides. I let them dry for 30-60mins, do a paper towel test, where a handful of grains should not leave a wet mark on a sheet of paper towel/toilet paper.
If the grains are wet on the outside, you're asking for bacterial contams and such.
I hope this made sense, I know it's not the best constructed sentences.

Thats exactly what i have them in Gretchen . A rubbermaid tote with lid. I place a heating pad in the bottom of it and a few metal cooling racks on top to keep the jars from direct contact and a thermometer in the center of the tub for temperature readings. Id like to upgrade to a digital with a remote probe but havent done that yet.
Makes perfect sense space . I called them liquid culture lids cause thats what they were called on the mad season website where I baught them. I will deffinetely try laying them out on a freshly laundered towel next time. This time I just let them sit in the strainer for like 15=20 minutes b4 pc'ing as i beleive the tek i was following called for. Luckily however I have had zero contamination so far even with wet grains and too much ms innoculant. Knock on wood .
Though honestly I find it hard to see where the contaminations would come from anyways. I mean look at liquid culture teks. Thats just a big friggin jar of water and sugar basically. If you use proper sterile procedure you have a pc'd quart of wbs or whatever your using, a flame and alcohol sterilized/sanitized needle and your working infront of a flow of fresh hepa filtered air (i have a laminar flowhood) and the port is self healing. The only wild card I guess is hoping your ms syringe supplier knows what the heck there doing (or do that yourself aswell . I havent gotten that far YET though).
