If I were in a foreign country and it was served to me by a host or whatever, I would try it. I wouldn't actively seek it out though, and I'm sure the thought of it would gross me out even if it did taste good.

Yeah, it really is a pointless double standard. I don't eat any meat, but people who say it's unusually cruel or somehow "more wrong" to eat a puppy are just being hypocrites.

That was never in dispute.  Would you eat a person if you had too?

If the puppy had already died and I was starving. I mean really starving. I would totally cook and eat a puppy.

Shall I rephrase from another angle haha.
Would you be able to kill a lamb and it eat? Not for survival and not with a gun

Yeah I'd have to be pretty desperate to eat dog of any age. Cannibalism I would do anything to avoid in similar dire straits though, I'd rather wander off to my likely death than live with the memory of eating a human.

See..we're different.  I don't have many qualms about cannibalism itself.  I have a big issue with murder though.
Now why is it that you eat meat and I don't?

I don't recall telling you that I did, but you guessed correctly. I'm also opposed to murder.

What if it was someone trying to steal all of your supplies away, and without them you would have to resort to cannibalism?  Would you rather kill that person or eat a dead person?  Also, if you killed him would you have less of an issue eating him vs some random corpse.

I deduced it like a prejudice deuce douche.
Would you say your meat eating is hypocrisy then?
As consolation of the possible answer, let me say that I too am a massive hypocrite.  As is everyone here

No, I would not, although I'm sure I am a hypocrite in many ways. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you are employing a nonstandard definition of the term "murder."

I didn't say that killing a gorilla wasn't wrong. It isn't murder as most would define the term though.

No sure.  But arguing that term would imply a possible rejection of the value I had given it. Since I assumed this wasn't purely for grammatical purposes, I asked you this to see why you thought different species have different value.
I wouldn't feel that bad if I stepped on an ant...I would feel bad if I stepped on a mouse
But does that one animal have any logical value over the other?
