That all depends on how well it is marinated.

I just want to settle the whole no puppy but lamb is ok. Or veal, chick slaughter etc. This is for discussion and not me judging people. Let's see how it pans out

Well then, no I wouldn't. I wasn't raised with lambs as pets, they were dogs. I have respect for dogs, they've always been there for me. It would be a dishonor to their species to eat a puppy. Hell, I think it's a dishonor to euthanize them or nuder them.
I'm trying to stop eating meat in general, but quite honestly it's hard to give a shit about chickens or turkeys because they're so goddamn dumb. I still need to meditate on that one.

Pigs arent dumb. Something has to earn your respect to have it's life valued? Did you grow up with dolphins and whales? What about monkeys....are they ok to eat Also pheasants hsve pretty intricate social behaviours but people eat them too

They eat dogs all over Asia. Yet people have a problem with this I know. ..I'm just trying to figure out what the difference is? In terms of logic. Why one is ok to est and not another.

I don't generally eat meat primarily for the points you're trying to emphasize. That's what I'm trying to say, but it's been a hard battle to give it up completely. Especially considering the fact that almost all our food product in the supermarket has meat product in it.
To answer your other questions, does something have to earn my respect for its life to have value? Yes, on a primal level. The primal mode of thinking has to do with relating to another thing. The more you relate to it, the more you respect it. It takes meditation and a high degree of self-awareness to respect all levels of life. As you may already know, there are not a lot of people that evolve into this.
We don't think of all the meat at the grocery store as cute adorable lambs and pigs, and veil. We think of them as hotdogs, hamburgers, and chops.
Monkeys, dolphins, and whales... I think if they were convenient to eat, our culture would, and therefore I would as well, more or less. In Japan, they do eat dolphins and whales. Monkeys are eaten in some Asian and African countries. Seals are eaten in the north and east. Dogs are eaten in the east (as we all well know). These cultures obviously do not relate to these animals the way our cultures in the west have. You don't really see a kid from Vietnam play fetch with his dog Rex. Does that make it morally acceptable? Who's to say? The animals we eat, eat other animals, as well.

Nothing you just wrote answered my question. I understand what you're saying and was already pretty clear on this. Many people don't grow up with monkey's but wouldn't eat one. Many people have pet rabbits and woukd eat one. I also stated I was I interested in the logic behind it as otherwise it always gets passed off as primal instinct. Why do we have the right to kill animals unnecessarily? I would add also add that there is a plethora of food available at your supermarket without meat product. I am vegan and I get by. I'm technically not vegan since I occasionally eat eggs from rescued hens. I don't exempt myself however. I could do a lot more, I know I don't make a difference but that is no reason to abstain. ...in fact it's a retarded thing to say. I pollute and fuel drug trades exploiting children etc etc. Just discussion

Meat for survival removes the whole idea of unnecessary killng and suffering. I'd be all over the puppies

Yeah, no. Still a dumb question.
But to answer it, I'd kill you before I'd kill a dog.
