A lot of rainfall lately here in the midwest, and I got lucky (I hope). I am pretty sure these are Cinctulus but I want to know what you guys think. Thanks in advance!
Habitat: Fertilized, well kept lawn.
Gills: Brown, look a little "sloped" from the top of the stem.
Stem: Light tan to light brown. Little lines run/twist down the length of the stems.
Cap: Tan to brown, darker circle in the center, rings (sometimes).
Spore print color: Jet black.
Bruising: No color change was observed.
Location: Midwest region of the US.

Cinctulus is a Panaeolus sp. not a Psilocybe
These look like Panaeolina foenisecii

Upper right hand corner might be cinctulus. The rest are Panaeolina foenisecii.

Alright, thanks. If I just took a spore print of all of them and only kept the ones that had black prints, would that work to single out the cinctulus? Also, what about the one the upper right hand corner shows signs of cinctulus?

Yes I would take all suspect cinctulus and place them on one sheet of paper, and the potential foes on another, and then see if the prints line up. You will be able to tell a black print from a "dark purple brown" print when they are side by side. The ones in the upper right hand corner have thinner, more reddish stems and just seem more close to the ones I find than others in your batch. I can't stand foes tho... They really mess with ya. Spore printing is the way to go. Save the black printing ones.

Yeah I'll do that. Hopefully I can find at least one subb to use as a future reference in my mind.
