I dunno. The first ones look like Panaeolus cinctulus.

I can't say what they are specifically since I got out of the ID business years ago and don't trust that dusty knowledge anymore, but I definitely agree with Riverdweller and xfsketch.I can narrow it down to Strophariaceae . I can tell you though that purplish black is definitely not blue. I'm not trying to make you out as stupid or anything. It happens all the time, and occasionally an active psilocybe will bruise so strongly as to turn black (this is rare with cubes in my experience. I call them "special" ). But when they say it bruises blue to bluish-green, it is definitely a blue color and nothing else. Sorry if you already know this. I haven't checked your posts to see if you've found anything before. Call me lazy.

The latest are not libs. They protostropharia. I agree that the first ones looks like Panaeolus cinctulus. Did you get a spore print of the suspected Panaeolus?

Actually, now that I've looked at the pictures (oops), some of those really do look like liberty caps. I'm definitely not the one to ask, and you already have an expert opinion so I'm not going to speculate. they could have fooled me far enough to get a spot in the bag, at least. Not the gill structure I like to see, and not the gill color I like to see. Good job on the pics!

The only ones which might be active are these. They are likely Panaeolus cinctulus.

If they are dry, you won't be able to get a print, but you might try going back to the same spot and collecting more and getting good pics and spore prints.

I have been finding a lot of mushrooms that look like this but have been passing them by not thinking much of it. I went out today but i went to late and most everything was dry but i found a lot of these in greenery near a giant wood chip pile i had been picking, are they the same species? most of what i found are in small patches but the patches are everywhere. most of the mushrooms are darker like yours but some are lighter like pictured.
