People grow in milk Cartons. I see it as your chamber can be whatever you want its the condition you need to create.

An SGFC is different because 4-5 incehes of damp perlite is going to give better FAE while maintaining high RH than your bubble machine and 2 inches of elevated perlite.

Also, your electronics on the inside are going to end up corroded and dead. That amount of light is almost useless.

It doesn't just have more holes. It has a lot more holes. Those pumps don't have a very large capacity, you would still want some well placed air holes when using them for additional air exchange and to help distribute the incoming air more effectively. Little pockets of still air are perfect places for mold to grow.

Don't bump your own thread within 24 hours please. Compose your thoughts and then put them down all at once, not every few minutes.
You need to take pause and listen to those who have done this before you and have made suggestions. It's apparent you've read some outdated info. RR

I get that you spent alot of time working on this and dont want it to go to waste, but you are turning something so simple into something way too complicated that wont work as well. Take the advice from the pros, your results will be much better. All you need is a rubbermaid tote and some perlite.

MagicBoomer said: I was just saying the the wavelength and the nms are the same used for photosynthis. for example if i used blue n red leds what didnt match the suns spectrum thats not going to tell the mushrooms its time to start pinning. hence induces pinning
You're reading way too much into an old book. They had some cubensis substrates in total darkness except for once a day taking a photograph with flash. When they pinned, it was incorrectly 'assumed' the milliseconds of flash each day is what triggered the pinning. The fact is, they'll pin and grow in total darkness, just not well. Pinning performance and growing to full potential is best achieved with bright light in the 'daylight' range, 6500K or so. RR

I would listen to RR. That man knows whats up.
otherwise, imho.. you are making something simple into something far too difficult. make it easier on yourself and take the advice that is given to you! no reason to be stubborn :p

Ok thanks for the light information. I use the same light mixture in the pick for growing bud so dont see a reason to replace it maybe make it stronger is all.

Fungi have nothing in common with plants.

No but light has to do with spectrums and nms, the sun has certien number for each color. so if you want REAL light your gonna match the suns spectrum.... sense the lights work on plants(threw photosynthesis) proves its releasing the right spectrum and nms as the sun. Giving me real light is what im saying.
