LSD Solo tripping

Hey so I dropped two tabs at 1 AM this morning and was up tripping until about 7. When I dropped the girl I was with promised she'd stay awake, so I thought I was going to have someone with me the whole time, but of course she fell asleep and left me all alone.
I was a little scared about tripping alone at first, but then I was really able to get into it after I calmed down. I had previously only dropped in social settings (music festivals, hikes, days at the beach) so was a little worried about where the trip would take me if I just gave it complete freedom.
But what I found was that the trip was even better. I felt like I was able to thoroughly explore and understand LSD. I felt that instead of using LSD to intensify and experience, LSD was the experience. I now feel way more comfortable with it as a drug. Previously I was a little hesitant about taking it before each trip, but now, I'm just looking forward to the next one.
I'm just curious if others have this kind of experience when juxtaposing a social trip and a solo trip. Do you find that you're more comfortable with one or the other? In your experience, does solo tripping helps you better understand/be more comfortable with the drug?

I trip with other people for recreation. When I'm solo I'm working on something for me the whole time. Not to say I haven't had deep experiences with other people, it's just easier and more focused when I'm alone.
Personally I got completely comfortable with tripping after tripping sack on 25i. I have a feel for the hardest I'll probably ever trip, so I'm more comfortable with any kind of tripping in general.

I'd have to agree with you that tripping solo allows you to explore LSD (and other hallucinogens) and navigate the psychedelic headspace. I learned a lot about myself alone on LSD, and it was a beautiful raw experience!

I'm way more comfortable tripping alone than with other people. When I'm tripping around people I forget that I'm supposed to talk and stuff. Like I forget what a human is supposed to act like. If I'm at alone and start to have a rough time at least I don't have to worry about people watching me thinking I'm freaking out.

Psychedelics are mainly an introspective drug, it's almost made for solo experiences without distraction without having to "maintain" in large social areas.

This is exactly how I do it Solo trip = introspection, friends = recreation

I definitely agree with this to an extent, it is definitely more recreational with other people for me as well.
However, I have personally experienced that with the right people, the psychedelic head-space can be a way for friends to become closer and understand each other better on a personal level. I experienced this with a few of my best friends, as well as my boyfriend. I find it easiest to trip with people who appreciate the insights I get from psychedelics, and are comfortable talking about philosophical and introspective topics.

Solo tripping can be great! But like others have said, tripping with a few of your closest buddies can be absolutely amazing. I had one of the best trips of my life with one of my best friends, just talking, and laughing a lot. God damn I love LSD, used to take RC like 2c-b, 2c-e, 2c-c, but they are nothing like LSD. LSD is so special

I used to have the best trips alone even on very high doses (never with high LSD doses though) and it never was too uncomfortable or bad but after this certain trip (with a friend ironically, and my first social trip) I can't really trip by myself anymore. I basically witnessed him have a pretty bad trip for a bit and it focused my attention on his bad trip, which was the first time I ever really looked at tripping in such a dark way. It was either magical or just a bit too much, but never any truly bad thoughts. I don't know if I can have a full-on solo trip again . At least not for a while. Tripping with friends can be fun though since I know I'm not alone at the very least.

Ive been curious about this with lsd, never done it on my own, seems to be ok socially for me, but mushrooms, I tripped twice with "friends" and have only tripped solo off them since, its the only way to go in my opinion, ive just never had a spiritual or introspective experience on L, and only those kinds on the mushrooms, so ive been considering that a solo L trip might bring the introspection on a more clear level. id be worried that I would really wish there were other ppl there to have fun with on LSD, but maybe not, as you said, it changes the trip completely to be flying solo, wich has been profound beyond belief for me, even mdma solo was completely profound, and it wouldn't seem like it would be fun by myself at all since it was a party drug for me, but a whole new world alone.

ive only had one strong solo-LSD trip and it definitely felt more introspective than tripping with other people. It felt more analytic than mushrooms but it had a calming introspection or spiritual feeling to it like how mushrooms can too. I can see how it could go bad that way, if you're not in the right mind set. set and setting and you'll be fine.

tripping alone for me allows more room for self-exploration and deep learning experiences, and to really enjoy the lsd experience in depth and get to know it.
i have tripped with others, although it can be awkward and distracting at times.
however, my most recent trip with my girlfriend (her first time) was likely the best trip i'd ever had. i wasn't able to achieve a deep, enlightening headspace, but we shared hallucinations and conversations that were so enjoyable that i can't even describe it. it was the most beautiful trip i'd ever had...and i've tripped A LOT.
at this point, i'm ambivalent about tripping solo vs. with others. but if i choose to trip with one or more persons, my decision will be based on how i relate to the other individual(s). sometimes i like to trip with newbies to show them how wonderful the lsd experience is and how it can easily show you how beautiful life is. on the other hand, i'm sure i will get back into solo-tripping when the time is right. i only trip 1-2 times a year nowadays
