recent find need help with ID
    #18949667 - 10/08/13 01:39 PM (10 years, 3 months ago)

Habitat:
I found this shroom in a cow pasture, growing underneath the tufts of grass(you can see some of the environment in the pictures). it was a very wet area. The pasture is about 575 ft above sea level. in a known foothill area of south Puget sound.

Gills:
it has gills that are attached and white to light brown

Stem: 2- 3 inches in Length, , white and bruises blue in color, the stems are mostly full with a thin hollow strip in the middle

Cap:
1 inches in  diameter is the regular size i found but some grow too 2 inches, they are white in color but seem to have blue in them or bruises are blue, slimy on top with the noticeable film. it is thick and seems meaty, spherical, convex,

Spore print color: coming soon

Bruising:
blue

The spores on the blue Stropharia will be brown.  Paneolus species have black spores.

Probably Stropharia pseudocyanea owing to habitat and gill coloration, but it isn't simple.
