Fireball and Tennessee honeys are liqueurs I guess some people like them.
I drink peppermint Schnapps sometimes, and that's about it for liqueurs for me unless it's in a cocktail
Way too sickly sweet for me.

I know. I used gatorade to mask my cheapo mccormick, tvarskeys, and the countless cheap whiskey brands I've had.
I dont plan on masking or mixing anything tomorrow night. I just wanted to know of spirits that can be enjoyed for more than their alcohol content. I'll definitely be getting a top shelf spirit to be enjoyed in its straight-out-of-the-bottle formQuote:

Cold masks nearly all the flavors , that's why many prefer good whiskey/liquor "neat" at room temperature with no ice.
Ice makes it more refreshing.
Nah dude Im allergic to BEER because it makes my lips, tongue and asshole itchy when I shit straight beer out. When I say itchy, I mean I wanna shove a cactus up my ass to relieve it

You should tell a doctor and find out what you're allergic too. Allergy's can be bad
Save money for good liquor! Enjoying it is worth it.

"Liquid Cocaine" shot
Equal parts:
- 151 Rum (75% alcohol)
- Rumple Minze (or any 100 proof, 50% peppermint schnapps)
- Jagermeister
That was my college experience, tastes like Christmas morning before it lays you flat on your ass. Oh, and don't knock using Boons Farm as a mixer with rum/vodka-- that shit is delicious. Who needs juice when you can have fizzy alcoholic juice?

Too sweet for me as well. One of the only exceptions that I make is kahlua mixed with vodka.

= add cocaine to water.. Very soluble in cold water, that's how you inject it, no heat needed, in fact heat is a big no-no.
Add said water to whatever you are drinking. Though you are better snorting it, or better yet injecting. (though that is a silly thing to start doing, it does give the best hit...).
Not recommending people start injecting ANYTHING before people start giving me shit.
Back on topic, I like Ricard/Pernod and water (pastis) too, you have to like aniseed, but it is strong and gives an almost hallucinogenic drunk. Similar to Absinthe in high quantities IME.
Surprised no one has mentioned the green fairy.. Is real Absinthe legal in the US?? I can't recall, been a few years since I drank out there...
My favourite beer is:
Not sure how much is exported, but anything from that brewery kicks ass, what an English ale should taste like, the organic is ultra refreshing and so well balanced it makes me sad to drink any other beer really..

Cocaine doesn't have good oral bioavailability, and cocaethylene (coke+alcohol) is only slightly better.
I've never tried ricard/pernod, but I like anise okay. The absinthe I've had was very heavy on the anise.
It's legal in the US up to a certain percentage of Thujone.
Also, you didn't say what your favorite beer was As for "what an english ale should taste like", What KIND of English ale?
I'm a bigger fan of our American way of dry-hopping, and use of more flavorful hops, high in both alpha and beta acids, while the hops most English brewers use contain mostly alpha (bittering) acids.

The beer in the picture immediately after the statement...? Seemed fairly obvious when I posted it and still does looking at it again.
It is what any English ale should taste like, it is what all beer should taste like IMO, it is just fantastic.
For the record, if for some reason pictures are confusing, it is called St. Peter's Organic and made by the St Peter's Brewery in the county of Suffolk. Most of their stuff is amazing and well worth trying, you can always spot it from the unique bottle shape.
An ale is an ale. A bitter is a bitter. A stout is a stout. I am not sure where the confusion lies...

Again... I fail to see where the confusion stems from.. I never stated that drinking cocaine was a good idea at all.

Picture doesn't show up You must have used an invalid link. Easiest way is to upload the pic on imgur or on the shroomery. A bitter is an ale, as is a porter and is a stout. I'm assuming you mean a pale ale, but red ales and brown ales are also common. Just looked it up and it's an English pale ale. Sounds like it's pretty hoppy from the reviews, I bet I'd enjoy it

Hmmmm.. I did upload the image to the site and it shows up fine from my end.. You using a phone or other non-computer based way to look at the thread (tablet etc)?

In England an ale is basically just referred to as a "real ale" as opposed to lager, pilsner etc. I think there may be some cultural differences regarding classification. Ale is ale. An IPA is a type of ale, but an ale nonetheless.
I am just glad Americans are drinking something other than Busch and it's various derivatives, I lived in St. Louis for several years where the main Budweiser brewery is (was??). It is good to know micro brews and real beer is being drunk by people outside of Europe.

Nope, this happens commonly. The link you used must be only visible to you, so probably a picture from your e-mail I'm guessing? And yea you guy's do have different terminologies. Pale ales are really common here, and I guess those are considered "real" ales.
I'm in St. Louis! We have a couple GREAT new breweries over the past couple of years.

And lastly, my favorite new brewery "4 Hands"
