Looks fine, when you bulk it up, give it a sniff. That's where I get my second opinion. First opinion from my eyes, second opinion from my nose

The top/center of the first pic looks like a bit "powdery" but its prolly good, wait for someone more experienced in pan myc to chime in. Im havin a hand at some pan cams goliath, im not sure, but i think my spore syringe is contamd, or pan cams just have weird mycelium. gotta start some petris and see watsup

awesome thanks! this is my first run with pans so im a little hesistant on what it's correct appearance should be.
on the other hand i personally have not found it to be a faster colonizer than cubes

For me Sandose was a very fast colonizer as fast or faster than any cubes I've grown. Did some Aussie Pans that took forever and still was so faint in appearance that it didn't look like mycelium was even ready at 100%

Pans are a lot faster than cubes IME. The myc is also going to look less dense, so to my eye that stuff looks good to spawn.
I have done a few bulk Pan Cyan grows and am thinking of doing another soon, got some LC samples from a friend and don't want to waste them.
Not an expert as such, but certainly have enough grows under my belt to comment with confidence.

Do you live in a warm area? That is awesome! That's very fast but my PF pan cyan cakes are kinda slow I think it's because the temperature is in the 70's You must be incubating them, or the area you live in is warm

or you did multi spore and got a slow colonizing variety? 70 degrees should be fine.

Yeah, I have never incubated mine and I am in the UK.. Grown them during the winter at room temp which is certainly no higher than 70*. They have always grown super fast, I tend to wrap the tubs/trays during substrate colonization which will help keep the temp up and keep heat created by the mycelium in.

@rbalzer
It's a Multi-spore inoculation. Thanks my friend I didn't know that temperatures in the 70's was fine for Pan Cyan, you're awesome, thanks again

just spawned those jars to horse manure/verm and i have zero confidence in them.
i ended up going back to my p0 plates straight from the syringe and took different samples from them.
from this type of mycelium

and not this type

so far the plates are looking much nicer
