TaoShroom's Fall Forage
    #18948543 - 10/08/13 08:20 AM (10 years, 3 months ago)

Went for a walk through a city park  hoping to find a few P.Semi's, unfortunately I found none :frown: But having my camera on me did not stop me from taking pictures! Now for the best part, taking educated guesses at what they are and then watching you folk debate over it as well hehe!

Hypholoma's? (growing around a small deciduous tree, forget which kind)

Russula? Lactarius? (growing in tall grass next to shrub trees)

Lycoperdon (growing in grassy area with somewhat rocky soil underneath)

No Idea, growing in grassy areas.

Boletus Something-or-other 1 (found in grass next to tree line, oak/spruce/maple)

Boletus Something-or-other 2 (found in grass near a spruce{or was it a pine...})

your first bolete is a Leccinum species.

The first pics of your suspect Hypholoma looks like a mixed collection to me.  There are clearly brown spores on the caps of the mushrooms on the right bottom corner.  Maybe Hypholoma and Pholiota?  IDK, just a guess.  Could all just be Pholiota.

Yes they had a very rusty brown spore print, I figured the larger mushrooms were just more mature and at the end of their life cycle. They could be 2 different kinds entirely though.
