Question about misting

Wen one mists one isnt only supposed to mist the perlite but also the fruiting/substrate tray inside the FC as well correct?

Correct. Mist your substrate twice a day. Lightly mist, fan tray for 5 sec, once you see pins increase misting, and fan time up to 10sec.

Mist the cakes/substrates directly with a fine mist until they glisten, then fan out the chamber.
Always fan out the chamber after misting your cakes/substrates, this will help with evaporation, which is a main pinning trigger.
Mist again once the water you previously applied has evaporated.
The perlite should also get wet from you misting the cakes, but if it doesn't mist it anyways.
