my collective thoughts for new cultivators

alot of fails are from over doing things.

when it comes to substrate dryer is better than wetter.

when it comes to pastuerization cooler is better than hotter 145-155. (coir/verm/gyp is all i have experience with)

when it comes to prepping grains under boil is better than over boil.

when it comes to monotubs dial it in via franks tek, with just a fan moving air in the room. no hepa filters or humidifiers needed

i have only been doing this for a lil over a year and have been gone for awhile on the forums but my success rate is amazing.

i found mushrooms growing inbetween the liner of my trash bag and trash can from just a lil grain that somehow got there

OP those mono tub sig pics you got going on there are banging. Love the third one with the wide ass lens.

Wish we had a way to remove a side of the monotub for some great looking canopy of gills pics

I agree! Though I will mention two things-

I would say that I run a humidifier in my grow room year round, but I live in a fairly dry climate. Remember though, you can never have too much humidity, so long as your FAE is good

And I would say to prep the substrate on the dry side...except with coir and verm. For whatever reason, coir/verm colonizes fastest when I prep it on the wetter side of field capacity (4.5-4.75 quarts per brick and two qts verm). No other substrate behaves like this IME.

Wish I saw you around more often ty! Sounds like things are going well for you

thx frank im doing very well which is probably why i havent been on as much, i just now i had to turn my heater on and that being said i am running my humidifier for a higher ambient RH also.

youre a life send the best piece of advice i got from you was stuffing poly tight in bottom and loose on top i just couldnt believe that simple thing fixed all my monos.

oh ya and you making the pastuerization  tek so easy to follow.

fuck the bucket tek
