    #18946499 - 10/07/13 07:54 PM (10 years, 4 months ago)

Today is day 11 in colonization.
Spawned to coir/verm.
Was just curious if this looks ready to you guys?
I'm ready to fruit this bitch.

I still see uncolonized patches of substrate. Might want to keep it colonizing for a bit more. The color is very strange, but I think that's just the picture.

Needs a little bit more but by taking the top off for the pic you kind of messed stuff up a little. That little bit of fresh air may have induced fruiting and it will no longer colonize/colonize extremely slow. Watch it for the next day or so. if it doesnt colonize any more in that time you may just want to begin fruiting.

LOL who said i took my top off?
Although it barley affects anything if you do it for a quick second.
I havent once opened the lid, what you are seeing in the top right is a extreme close up of a water droplet on the lid.
The lid is on.
I'll give it some more time to finish up. The only part i can see that really isnt colonized, is that far right corner now.  It's about 1-2 quarters ( as in the coin) big.  I can see mycelium peeping threw the surface all in that vicinity though.
Thanks guys.

Ah, looks good then man! Uh.. as long as that weird coloring is just the lighting/picture and not really in the substrate lol..

Not true in the slightest

You can peek all you want. Fruiting is not a quick burst of fresh air. Fruiting is a slow, constant, and steady exchange of fresh air combined with high humidity and evaporation of moisture from the substrate.

:themoreyouknow:

Hey zepart, it looks like drops of water fell from the lid and landed on the middle of the substrate. Is it wet there?

Heck yea, the person I was wanting to see.. Frank :crazy2:

You all are great though thanks!

I fruited the tub this morning.
There is water droplets though EVERYWHERE on the surface of the mycelium.
Perfectly fine with that, and everything TBH.
The lighting is causing the mycelium to look different colors.
I promise it's white as snow.
That damn corner though, took way longer than anything.  I waited for that bitch to colonize for 3-4 days compared to everything else.
It's not "wet" to say though, more like a morning dew? It's all fairly "dry", besides the little droplets everywhere xD.
Oh Frank...  i dialed in this mono like a boss, :awesomenod:

thanks again all, you fucking rock
