If you can’t acknowledge that there are players that are better than him at certain things you are just ridding them nuts way too hard.
"Offense" is a very very broad category. A broader category than defense actually because there are less components in the defensive game.
Steph is a point guard. He should be getting more assists than Lebron because of his position and role. Steph is a better shooter than Lebron. I would say Lebron is a better passer (Lebron is one of the best passers I have seen in my life, and this is probably the most underrated area of his game), a better driver, has an actual post game, a better transition game, and can play anywhere on the floor against any defender.
Lebron is a better all-around offensive player than Steph Curry.
Lebron is probably also a better all-around offensive player than Durant. Durant is a scorer, and is better at scoring than Lebron. But He often plays a little too selfishly. There is more to Lebron's offensive game than just scoring. Lebron is by far the superior passer and athlete for example. Durant is very close to him though. Both of them are elite defenders.
Durant is a scorer, Lebron is a teammate.
And I don't hate or dick-ride Lebron. I'm quite neutral on him, but he is for sure the best player of this generation.
LBJ ran the offense in Miami all year for the majority of the games. Like Barkley says positions are only there so the casual fan can understand the game better. lebron plays smaller than he is, and the numbers just aren’t there to say he’s a better passer than curry. No doubt he’s a better driver he’s got 6-7 inches and 40-50 lbs on Curry (who honestly isn’t very athletic, dude can barely even dunk)
KD doesn’t play selfishly at all. Hell he doesn’t take enough shots. Normally half of what westbrook takes should have went to KD. OKC just doesn’t have the luxury of signing every big name player in the league like Lebron does. Lebron is the best GM in the league too
I don’t know what you mean by generation, I would say he is the currently the best active player and has been for the last few years. I wouldn’t go any farther than that though.

Sure thing. I love basketball. I love arguing about it, watching it, playing it, analyzing it, betting on it... I actually plan on applying to every front office in the league for a "moneyball" statistical analysis type of position when I finish college. Be forewarned, I'm kinda obsessed with the Grizzlies and I dick-ride Mike Conley frequently.

Very fair counterpoints. I can't find anything in there to disagree with. Although I would say Lebron has the capability to play big, even though he does often plays small. And the OKC offense is like 75% Westbrook/KD and they need to play more teamball to win championships. This could be a coaching issue though its hard to know for sure. I still think Lebrons the best offensive player though.
Why can't the season just start already??

Eh well agree to disagree man its hard to quantify a players ability like that, and no matter what at some point it comes down to opinion.
Out of curiosity who is your team?
Ya the season needs to start. I love watching basketball every night.

NBA 2K is the only video game I still play. The 2k series of NBA games has amazing for so many years now.
Anyways. I was just driving home from work listening to my local sports radio and they were having a debate about D.Wade's wedding on Saturday and if LeBron should attend.
I found it really interesting because the debate consisted of if LBJ attends Wade's weeding, then the spotlight will be on him instead of the actual wedding.
Now I'm just wondering. What do you guys think Wade should do (or do you even give a fuck)? -Tell LBJ not to come even though they are still very close friends off the court? -Tell Him to come no matter what?
On LBJ's part -Should he decline the invitation for personal reasons? -Accept the invitation and attend with his pregnant lady? -Attend with his plus one being Kevin Love ?

That sounds like a bunch of stupid shit nobody cares about. Trying to create drama for dumb shit. I'm sure they're still friends why not. I don't even know why that's a question.

Yea, it sure is a dumb question but this offseason is too long already. What else is there to talk about?

Three members of the Heat were victimized by a multimillion dollar scam (I didn't recognize their names but I only knew the Big 3 and the Celtics guy). Some guy who is now in prison for separate crimes was charged with ripping them off by saying he would invest their money. Here's the good part. He used a million of their money to buy a 3 year Heat ticket plan. He was a real fan.

Oh sweet Satan please keep the Hawks in the ATL.
Fucking Christ, Levenson, it's normal business to try to attract rich white customers but you don't do that by sending out a long email focusing on the audience being too black. Even if it's true use some common sense. You're (one of) the fucking owners. Just implement the common sense changes just don't say why.
I mean they're moving the Braves, the entire stadium, out of Fulton County, obviously because it's too black down there, but in a million years they wouldn't admit that's why. What a dipshit.

Correct me if I’m wrong but i thought ATL had a huge population of rich black people, the largest in the country if i remember correctly.
How black is ATL? 40-50%?

It's famous for wealthy blacks but like the rest of America the poorest areas are black and the richest are white.

Actually the games are like 2/3rds white people. Memphis is pretty 50/50 black/white, but (just like ATL and everywhere else) the poor areas are black and the rich areas are white.
The owner is a weird guy though. He's a 30-something billionaire entrepreneur, but there are bizarre reports that come out about him. Like He wanted to put headphones on the coach to take audibles from the front office during games .
