Dude.
You are from Utah. Your colleges can't recruit and NBA players consider a contract with the Jazz a prison sentence. Have you noticed players abandon Utah like a burning building? That's because it's the laughing stock of the nation. Fucking magic underwear.

You always pull for them man...
personally i don’t give a shit who you like. Just using that to prove a point. You know and i know that shit you were talking just aint true. Partially sure, but up until recently both teams were pretty damn dominant. I get it, its a caricature just like how i used a caricature of the south. Ill go ahead an assume you aren’t an illiterate klansmen even though much of the south is just that. Im pretty obviously not mormon, even though much of my state is. You don’t even know about that underwear shit though. Bitches be wearing sexy low cut shirts with garments covering their cleavage I don’t expect you to understand what its like here, all Ill say is the shitty stuff is all that you hear about. Being from the south ild think you should be able to empathize with that. Every rich asshole in America has a house in Utah. If I was a rich, protestant, racist asshole I would totally try and get a membership to augusta
College basketball sucks. Never been a fan, but the U even had their day in that.

Old fucks still think of Utah as a basketball school. The Runnin' Utes were badass back in the Majerus days. I bet you'd love college basketball if that was the scene.

Eh it just doesn’t do it for me the same way the NBA does. Jazz games are way better than Utes games anyway.
I went to a Jazz kings game and it was fucking sweet. A solid 80% of the crowd booed the shit out of and yelled obscenities at Jimmer while the mormons in their gay ass BYU shit were clapping. Oh and Demarcus Cousins fucking hates Utah and has no composure or self control. Its great the crowd gets to him so hard.

Wouldn't it be funny if Dan Gilbert moved the Cavs to Seattle?
I don't think Pat Riley should've given Bosh max for FIVE years.

Got to keep fans in the seats. Bosh and Wade will at least keep them competitive and somewhat relevant. I don't think Miami without LeBron will be a contender but they can certainly make the playoffs, especially in the East. 5 years is a long time for those two at this point though. Maybe they have unfriendly options to be cut after x amount of years. You would think the Heat would want flexibility in case they drastically decline. I'm sure the contracts have some fine print.

I need help on this question. Is acquiring Pau Gasol and amnestying Carlos Boozer's contract a real upgrade for the Bulls. On paper it doesn't seem to make much difference. Maybe I'm missing something but it seems like the same old "Bulls can't attract a name free agent, so lets make a grade B move".
Is Gasol a beast on defense. That would fit the Bulls' gameplan, and I know Boozer wasn't a strong defender (and neither was Derek Rose on his best day). I know Gasol won championships with Kobe so he has proved some internal mettle that most lack and maybe that's the most important thing.
Any comments?

Gasol is an ugly fuck.
He and Noah will be a powerful tandem. He has better numbers than Boozer across the board and he can defend the rim.
If Rose can play the Bulls are serious business next year.
The sun'll come out...

Good question.
Seems lateral to me. I hate boozer so much though that if i were you i would like it. Boozer can generate a lot of offense, Gasol a lot of defense.
Seems to me like they are trying to consolidate their interior, and possibly add some shooters down the road. Noah is already incredibly good defensive player. They are going to have a strong bigs lineup with Noah at the 4 Gasol the 5. Kinda emulating San Antonio’s Duncan/Spliter lineup a bit too.
Some perimeter shooting and Chicago is in business. I’ve always liked bellinelli don’t get why you let him go. If rose is still as explosive as he was back in the day that team will be fun to watch. He’s got that westbrook quality of really being able to stretch a D.

Noah can defend the rim too. If they're both that ugly maybe Chicago can scare people away from the basket.
Rose will come back, but he won't exactly be the same. That's why more scoring would be nice. Rose really does like to play point guard, not MVP Guard. Probably depends a lot on the new guys and the guy they brought in from Spain.
The Midwest just got a lot tougher with Cleveland.

I think cleveland will struggle more than people think this first year. Everyone is acting like this makes them instant Champion favorites. i don’t know about that just yet.
Chicago needs solid penetration and the ability to take guys 1 on 1 by rose, they don’t need that hero ball shit he used to play. Penetrate, draw the big, kick out to the open dunk or 3ball. That sounds like a sweet game plan to me. If he gets hurt again there is no fucking way he will be able to play as a starter in the NBA.

If Wade has a good year the Cavs could finish behind the Heat. I'm looking forward to my Hawks next year. You still got the Pacers, the Wizards the East ain't a done deal for nobody. My guess is the injury bugs will still impact Rose and Wade but time will tell.
If the Cavs get Love I'll start buying in.

Yup. Thats just too much firepower to ignore, especially if wiggins develops like people think he will. Defense may be an issue.

Yea I was quite pissed about that. Still am. At least Luel Deng was a good pickup.
@Sunra: All these NBA annalists have been saying the East is going to be so strong next season. I can't really buy into that. I think the West will still be stronger.
Riley has been talking about trying to get Aldridge down here for the past couple days. That would be fucking great

No way Aldridge leaves Portland.
Dude runs that town, and will be deified upon retirement or championship win.
