It's believable. Jordan is fucking mentally unstable. He goes into the Hall of Fame heralded as the GOAT and he's still got chips on his shoulder from fucking high school and shit.

Niggas got a house here though.

I know a guy who drives a limo and he says Jordan is dead silent for the 1:30 drive and tips a bill every time.

Who did you guys draft? i only watched the first 10 picks.

7footers haven’t impacted the game nearly as much as they used to.

Jordan hasn't really done anything right since he played for the Bulls. His executive skills are questionable.

Actually, I'm not too sure about Bird, McHale and Danny Ainge either. Ainge won as GM of Boston, but everyone was thinking old buddies McHale and Ainge just made these friendly deals with each other that no other GM would make. That's how Boston got Garnett. Bird seems respectable but has very little patience for players that don't have his work ethic and don't practice 8 hours a day.

This is a Jordan story I heard from a friend who's a club pro at a suburban golf course. Jordan was playing 18 holes with Gary Fencik (safety from the 85 superbowl). I don't play golf so I don't know how long 18 holes takes, but it's got to be a long time. Fencik tipped his caddy 100 and Jordan gave his 20. I guess his tipping has gotten better. His fellow Hall of Famer was known as Scotty "I ain't tippin" Pippen.
The Pippen thing is just a local rumor and might not be a fact.

Ainge has done well.

Bird is meh, have the bobcats ever made a run in the playoffs???

The Pippen story is pretty funny, and believable. I could see Jordan being a big tipper.

I think Bird shouldn't be in management or coaching. I don't care how great of a player you were in your generation, that doesn't lead to good management and/or coaching in this generation.

It's changed way too much since he's played. Even for Jordan. It's obviously getting better for the Bobca...umm Hornets, but it taken way too long for them to even be playoff contenders in the East if you can even call them a playoff threat. Which I don't.

I was looking for the Pippen story you were mentioning but I didn't feel like scrolling through the thread. All I know is that from a couple years after he retired until about 4 years ago, he lived down here in the summers and attended the same gym I was signed up at during that time.

Very nice guy, just really kept to himself. might of said 20 words to him in all those summers I saw him walking around the gym.

Rodman was a different story. That drunk asshole still owes me a round of drinks and shots..He's a fucking crazy pathological liar that lost all his basketball money trying to invest in a few rundown bars and turn them into a strip clubs before realizing there are zoning laws against serving alcohol and showing full nudity in clubs/bars on A1A unless they were built before 1969. Fucking dumbass and his rag tag posse of 21 year old autistic blonde girls and. So happy I haven't seen that motherfucker in a while. Way to crazy for me.

From what I heard, yes LeBron is gone. Bosh is probably going to the Rockets too. I doubt Wade will stay alone. The big three have been dismantled.

Bosh, Howard, Harden, and Parsons. Pretty solid.

At least Miami got a couple more titles out of Bron before he bailed. Nothing to hang heads about.

Houston should be interesting if McHale can mold this group into a real team.

Miami looks very much screwed and I'm thinking Pat Riley's reputation could be taking a hit he won't recover from at his age. DeWayne Wade opted out, presumably because he was talked into trying to keep the team together. The big theory was he was giving up 20 million and the 21 million player option on the following year to save cap space, and he would be compensated over a 4 year period. Out of loyalty and previous accomplishments they will probably give him something good, which he will take because no other team wants him for real money in his continuously deteriorating physical condition.

Now Miami has all the cap space in the world and can't get talent to compete. They have the money to attract Carmello, but him and Wade will win nothing. When that talent becomes available in the future, like Kevin Durant, if he goes anywhere, he going to the Lakers. I am convinced that one way or the other the Lakers will be stacked again in a few years.

I will be very surprised if Pat Riley is the rat that stays on this sinking ship. He will soon retire or become president of some team that can win soon.

Melo will never win anything. He has to be the star and demands too much money. He's a great player and I've always liked him but it's true.

Lol fuck cleveland, and fuck lebron james. Such a pussy, he just jumps ship whenever something looks bad. Just as i was starting to get some respect for that nigga too.
The NBA is obviously rigged its not even funny.  They got Wiggins, LBJ, and KLove in one offseason of of their own merits and luck... ya right.....

So much is wrong about this.

KD will never wear a lakers jersey.

I would gladly pay Dwade if i were a GM. Shit the Jazz are set to pay hayward 16-17 million a year. That nigga hasn’t done shit. Dwade is a scholar of the game that made LBJ what he is today. LBJ was such a little bitch choke artist before he got paired up with someone who knows the ropes.

CP3, Blake, LBJ, and Doc Rivers was always too good to be true.

Ya I agree. Toss him around for rings basically. I don't see Cleveland winning shit. Spurs for the double peat.

That is pretty damn improbable, IMO.

It will take Cleveland a year or two but they will get it. The bad guy always wins eventually. Lebron may be infinitely more likable as a human than Jordan but Jordan was a much more respectable professional.

The writing was on the wall back when LBJ got all cuddly with Manziel,  his wife posted that shit about cleveland, and then they draft the dude that has supposed to have been the next him for the past 5-6 years.

Oh and Barkley has been saying that shit for years.

I don't really follow basketball lore. I don't see him getting another in clevand. All though the sport is pretty rigged so eho knows. Anyone from the west wins it this year.

Lakers will be good again in a few years. They just got a free 1st round pick for taking Lin. Lin's contract is expiring soon that's a good deal for the future. I think Randle is going to be a solid NBA player. Sucks for Kobe though. By the time the Lakers are contending he will probably be retired. KB#24 is my favorite player of all time. He stayed in LA through thick and thin. LeBron should take note.

Wow we finally got a Lakers fan in this thread.
Surprised it took that long.

Now we need a Knicks and Mavs fan.
