Heat got taken to the woodshed and I love it. Peace out for a while basketball.

and lol@Mello to the Heat rumors, what position does that guy Lebron play again?

Ray Allen doesn’t need to retire, Wade is still a top player, Bosh being a pussy (and being out coached) is the reason why they lost.

Lebron is the best forward in the game, melo is a pure perimeter player, never seen that guy play like a big or post up (or play D) in his career. Swingman that could easily play a 2 guard for days.

Bullshit he (LBJ) wasn’t noticeable. He won every single matchup versus Kawhi Leonard, but somehow he still got circle jerked into winning the MVP. That MVP is a testament to Lebron’s greatness more than it is to Leonards.

Nah he really didn't though. Well I guess he did but leonard played great. When lbj is on one you can't gaurd him. Pure and simple. But he did a great job. Fuck the kids a year younger than I am.

He wasn't noticable. He never took any of the games over. He got his points that's all. I watched all the games and didn't even notice he was on the court half the time.

Cool Kobe and Lebron were 18 when he entered the league....

Plain and simple Lebron won every matchup (aside from the cramp game)
In what world is a double double every game and 30pts not noticeable?

You know who is barely noticeable? the guy who averages 13 points a game.

Duh he's the best player in the world. What can you do when he's on it. He's so damn dominate. That's a lot to ask of anyone in the league to gaurd.

I like you but your seriously just being a hater.

It's hard to believe that this all happened in a week and a half, and the Heat now seem so different. They had their down spells during the season but people thought they could turn it on when they needed to. Losing the first game of a playoff series has never been a big deal for them.

Just as I was finally getting used to the idea of Miami being the best.

Eric Spoelstra has to be part of the reason why Chris Bosch only plays outside. Wade is never going to be what he was before. Other than James, they had nobody starting or off the bench who could play against the Spurs. Pat Riley also has responsibility for this. The "big 3" can all leave but nobody is going to take Wade off their hands.

LeBron James has things to worry about way beyond the concern of most superstars. There are only a tiny select few who could ever "be like Mike". LBJ had a good shot because of succeeding at such a young age, plus all that size to go with superior talent. Now he is 2-3 in the finals. He's got to strike while the fire is hot. Getting more MVPs wont be enough. To really cement his place in the history books he needs lots more titles. He got to pick his team once and he get's to again. That is a huge responsibility because it puts his legacy almost entirely on him. In the long run, whose fault is it if the rest of the team isn't good enough. That is not what people will talk about later. I would not have said this before, but I think he is going to move on right now. Los Angeles or some other place with a lot of bright lights. Other people are saying Houston. Currently, the Eastern Conference might be a good place to make it to the finals, but it's not a good place to get ready to win it.

Don't be so sure that Phil Jackson can work his usual magic on the Knicks. Phil managed egos and the triangle offense, but the stars were always in place when he became head coach. I think Dennis Rodman and Pau Gasol were the only medium big names brought in on his tenure. The rest were effective role players.
Even the search for the coach at NY looked a little shaky. Phil won it all as a first year head coach, and never stopped winning, except when Jordan played baseball. Now they have Derek Fisher who has never coached at any level. We will see if Phil can bring stars in; he will need several. I don't know if they can keep Carmelo Anthony or whether they want to. He is a great scorer who can't or won't do anything else. Not the usual formula for winning championships.

Some casino sports book just put the odds at 7-2 for San Antonio to repeat.

From the post-game press conference I think LeBron is leaving Miami.

It's time to put the greatest of all time stuff on hold. Just take it off the table for now.

I think a better question is where does Duncan rate.

In blackjack 3 to 2 means you get paid paid 3 dollars for every 2 dollars bet. So they're paying 7 dollars for every 2 dollars bet on the Spurs repeating? Sometimes casinos have weird ways of phrasing things.

Its not that I hate him. He is a very average player that is being jerked off by everyone right now, because he plays for a good team. KD even said that shit.

You don’t even watch basketball and you bandwagon the spurs, don’t try and talk about the jazz..... I bet you can’t name a player on half of the NBA teams

I highly doubt the spurs win next year. No duh they are the odds favorite right now though, but the draft hasn’t  even happened.

Duncans gotta rate pretty high. Seems like nobody talks about him. 17 years 5 championships. One of the most consistent big men to play the game. I'd be surprised to find out the spurs didn't make the playoffs in his entire career. Straight boss how many championships did jordan have?

And he still looks like he has a couple more years in the tank. Same with parker and ginobli. They just have such a good bench there not expected to play 40+ minutes with the game on there back like lebron.

The most impressive stat about the spurs franchise is the 17 straight years of 50+ wins.
To answer your question, Jordan had 6 rings.

I’ve always loved Ginobili’s game. He takes wild ass shots, and fucking makes them. Whenever Ginobili has the ball there is a pretty good chance some crazy shit is about to happen, He’s kinda like Westbrook in that regard.

I was watching through some old championship shit a few weeks ago. It was crazy, i was like holy shit Duncan used to be so quick, omg the Shaq attack and young Kobe. I still think the Detroit Pistons were the sickest team back when they won it against LA in like 04.  Ben Wallace was a scary ass dude.

Ah ok. Ya man its really hard to dislike the spurs big 3. There all incredibly classy dudes. Soft spoken and humble as fuck. The most consistently good players in the league. I'm a big fan I've always rooted for the spurs. It's hard to hate them.

I also love how the entire team are basically international players. Generally they don't pan out but pop has a way of picking winners. Gonna be a sad day when pop retires. I don't think he does before a heart attack.

This is the thing that has been lost in the new hyper athlete NBA. No teams have systems anymore.  Sloan had a fucking system, Popovich has a system, George Karl had a system, Phil Jackson had a system. The whole idea is that you can get any player to work and thrive as long as they can do one specific task. Think Ray Allen, and the whole Spurs team.

I think the core of the spurs will stick together a few more years. It will be very interesting to see what Pop does after Duncan leaves. Dude is entirely irreplaceable.

To the guy that was saying no one wants DWade. I would fucking love to have Dwade on the Jazz. One of the best players in the league. He just gets over played at Miami, plain and simple. With no true point guard, too much falls on the big 3’s back. Bosh was a complete no show --and wins pussy of the series award-, and Dwade couldn’t handle the workload.

New Year though, can’t wait for the draft. Call me crazy but the 76ers are in a very good place right now. MCW is the truth, and if they add Jabari, shit could get real quick. Call me crazy again but i like the Jazz too, Trey Burke looked nice, Derrick Favors is already one of the best big men in the league, imo. Get rid of Kanter for a higher pick and get a solid 2 or 4, and were back. Everyone here hates him but i believe in Dennis Lindsey, he was in the Spurs system so you know he has an eye for talent. Don’t know anything about our new coach Quinn Snyder but he was in the spurs system, with ATL this year, is great friends with coach K, and had a pretty good run with mizzou supposably.  Definitely better than Corbin who was just there to make sure we stayed horrible this year for the draft.

Wade played good ball. Chalmers was there weakest link. He fucking played like straight trash. No matter who was on the floor the spurs played as one cohesive unit. Great ball movement you would think they've been playing together there entire lives.

A dominate performance they were definitely the best team in the league. I really hope the spurs big 3 don't retire for next season. But I still see the spurs making the playoffs even if they did.

You want players to work in a system. You don't pay someone millions of dollars just because there good. The great coaches build great teams because they know where a person fits. You can't ask someone to do everything. It's a team game.

I don’t know about going that far. They did everything right, and are going home with a trophy because of it. The west was so deep this year anyone could have taken it.

How you keep calling the spurs the big 3 is throwing me off big time. The spurs will make the playoffs with or without Parker, Ginobili, and Duncan you can count on that. KD has got to be getting hungry, Clippers are going to come back with a vengeance. Plus Steph Curry and the new GS Warriors will be right there too.

Congrats San Antonio, good season, and nice revenge. I feel bad for LeBron and Wade. Fuck Chris Bosh, I’ve always thought he was a worthless POS but now its obvious.

Fuck the Spurs though (and all the people that jump on that bandwagon). Everyone was acting like the heat were the bad bandwagon, ya right everyone loves to hate the heat, they are like the cowboys
