Good win for the Pacers but they're still going to have to play better and meaner defense to take the series. They gotta get thuggier.

He played like shit today. The Heat deserved to lose. Wade was the only one that played good minutes out there.
I have no idea why we gave Greg Oden a couple million dollars to come here this year if we're not gonna even dress him for games against the Pacers. The sole reason for signing him was for this series so he could match up against Hibbert.
Instead we're sticking 6'10 Udonis Haslem or 6'11 Bosh on 7'2 Hibbert. Makes no fucking sense to me.

Im actually cheering for the heat.
I grew a very strong dislike for the pacers over the past few weeks. Bunch of lazy pretenders. The heat should have won they just went to hero ball way too early they were shooting (bricking) 3s when there was a ton of time left.

I guess so. I think the main reason for the loss was shitty defense. We were getting torn up on almost every single pick and roll play.
If the Heat just play defense like they have all season, the Pacers shouldn't be a problem at all.
I don't know what's been up with the 3's this post-season. We got a former All-Star 3 point champion in James Jones, hall of famer Ray allen, and yet we started Shane Battier today. I really didn't like the gameplan from coach Spo today on offense or D.

Dont overreact from one game. DWade is still magic, LBJ is the best player in Bball.
It will take a lot for the Pacers to beat the Heat. Once and if they lose home court thats all she wrote.

Oh I'm far from having given up on my home team.
I was just pissed at the gameplan today. I'm happy Spo rested Wade as much as he did this year though. He really is looking like "Flash" from a few years ago again.
To me it looks like he lost a bit of his vertical over the years, but that's it. Like you said, he's been magic this post-season.

If the heat lose another game it will become the series all the sports media was hoping for about 4 months too soon.
Meanwhile Pacers just keep chugging along.

Did you see Oden's regular season game effort against Hibbert?
It was horrible. Hibbert loved it and scored 13 pts on Oden in the couple of minutes of the first quarter in which Oden was in play.
It was Haslem who shut Hibbert down for the remainder of the game.
Oden, a nice idea on paper but terrible in practice.

The Heat should play 5 out just like Atlanta did. Stretch Indiana out and drive and kick. Of course Bosh shooting 0/5 from 3 is not going to help.

Yea I saw probably 75 out of the 82 regular season games the Heat played, and was in attendance at both home games against Indiana.
I'm not saying to start Oden, I just want to see him in for the few minutes that the Pacers play their big line-up.
If you noticed last night, they were playing a really small line-up for about 30-35 out of the 42 minutes. In fact they had PG's at both the 1 and 2 positions for the majority of the game.
Like I said though. It's not about Oden, it came down to the way we played defense IMO. It'd also be nice to have a couple more 3's fall from Battier and/or Allen.

For sure. That was a big problem yesterday.
The local sports radio today was saying that they heard from an "inside source" that the starting line up for game 2 is gonna be:
1. Chalmers 2. Wade 3. LBJ 4. Haslem 5. Bosh
We gotta find the right match up for Stephenson. Wade isn't able to cover him well enough.

I hate this phrasing, but for real, he just needs to go hard in the paint as he's always done.

I would love having Diondre Jordan down here. I just really enjoy watching him play cuz he plays with a lot of heart with the talent to go with it. Nene would be a great fit too, and he's my Brazilian nigga born in the same city as me.
What do you think about all the Kevin Love trade talk? They're saying he's going to either the lakers, bulls, or celtics. Where do you think he'll end up next year?
