As a grizzlies fan, I'm so pumped for Grizzlies-Thunder tomorrow, huge game for them.

I think the wizards could surprise a lot of people I could see them beating the Bulls in 5, then taking Miami to 6 or 7 (or maybe even, dare I say it, win).

I wouldn't mind seeing the griz winning a ring. They make the playoffs every year just can't seem to put all the pieces together.

Grizz used to be horrible. They used to have the lowest win% in basketball, the last few years they have been good but i think they are on the decline.

Seems like they've been going every year for I'm not sure how long. And they always fight out a 5-7 game series.

Just seems like they can't put it all together. There missing something. I'm not sure what.

I hesitantly picked Memphis to win this series before game 2 (it's a couple pages back in this thread). After taking that game, I honestly believe they have what it takes to win in 6 or 7.

Anyways recap on the games tonight:

*:wtf: happened to the Spurs tonight? I know it's just one game, but I don't see them as the best team in the NBA like 99.9% of people that aren't Heat fans. They have the hardest road to the Finals than any other team. I say they don't get past the next round where they'll play the Blazers or Rockets.

*Heat game was fun to go to as always. Nothing really stood out though. Now that big Al is done, this series is over.

*Lol at James Harden acting all hard all season long because of the numbers he was putting up. He was 8/28 game 1 and I think 6/19 tonight. Talk about performance (when it matters) anxiety. If it wasn't for Howard playing so well tonight, they wouldn't even have been in the game. Aldridge and the Blazers are looking like the 2nd best team in the West right now IMO.

As for most improved, Dragic definitely deserved it. He is such a talented, underrated player!

Davis?

Davis who?

He's probably talking about Anthony Davis. Mr Unibrow.

If that's who he is referring to then I have no idea why. He didn't do shit this year defensively.

Suddenly, the NBA’s fifth-leading scorer in the regular season (25.4 points per game) has become a major concern for the Rockets, who find themselves in a 2-0 series deficit after two home losses. When a reporter from a national organization asked him about his struggles, he got short.

“It’s basketball – making shots,” Harden said before moving onto the next question.

But when his media session in the Rockets opulent locker room ended, Harden went back at the reporter, asking if he had ever seen a player not play well before. The reporter answered that the struggle seemed unusual for Harden and was coming on a major stage, the playoffs.

The two went back and forth for a while, with Harden asking the reporter if he’d ever seen a basketball game before, then demanding to know whom the reporter was. The exchange got testy enough that team officials stepped in to usher Harden out.

As he left the room, Harden called the reporter “weirdo.”

I used to really like Harden as a player with OKC because his personality was always hidden by the fact that KD and Westbrook were the focus of their news stories. Also, he was a bench player that made the most of his 12-15 minutes or so per game.

Now that he's a "star" starter with the Rockets, it's become very apparent that he's an arrogant douche.

He's like the Kanye West of basketball.

Idk why you guys are busting on Davis so bad he is such a purely talented player.  He averaged 2.8 blocks per game.  Plus 20 points, 10 rebs. per game and the kid is only 21 years old.

Who gives a shit if he has a unibrow the guy is an awesome athlete and I'm telling you right now, future defensive player of the year and future MVP in the making.

As for the playoffs right now, Aldridge is fucking tearing shit up! 46 then 43? Behave!

Nothing against Davis. He's a hell of a player for 21 years old and will only continue to improve. He just wasn't even considered in the voting for D player of the year this past season.

Maybe in a couple years or even next season he will. The unibrow does bother me though lol.

Aldridge is in fact going beast mode right now. Putting up video game like numbers and playing great D. He's been great all year, but I wonder how much longer he can keep up what he's done in games 1 & 2.

I really like what the Blazers are doing this year, but if they want to keep winning, someone else besides LA is gonna have to start stepping it up. Both Lillard and Wright are becoming really good players. Just a bit more offense from them and I see the Blazers going very deep this year.

Totally agree. They were the team to watch during the first half of the season. It would be sweet to see them go far but remember there's the Spurs and the Thunder as top competitors.

I dont get peoples' problem with Harden

When the Rockets gave him a max contract many people were absolutely stunned but he has lived up to his contract and proven that he is an elite player in the NBA...

He has 2 bad games and all of a sudden he's a chump? come on, get real. Rockets wouldnt even be in the playoffs if they didnt have him.

That's true.
He's just being a douche off the court right now and costing his team games at the only time it counts.

Doesn't really matter what he did in the regular season if he can't play on a bigger stage right.
