That was how Doc coached the Celtics and of course Pop. Just another good reason to focus on the tourney for now.

It seems like the NBA tends to take march a little easy as is. Like the Spurs always say, you don’t wanna peak too early.

Pelicans beat the Heat by 10.
Bosh sums it up saying, "We suck!"

Pacers heat was a good game, but I’m pretty damn convinced the NBA is rigged as fuck.
No way Hill misses 2 ft’s and why and the fuck would you go to bosh for 2 critical 3’s and the game winner? Game was so set up for the Heat to win. Plus that ejection was garbage.

Of course it's rigged to a degree. The big markets sell more shit. Makes more money. It's a business after all.

Ya i think the refs are there to keep it interesting and allow things like a lebron game winner on sports center instead of what should have been a 10 point loss by the heat minus some really ticky tacky questionable calls.
The top players on the top teams seem more like actors than anything.

It's entertainment. I'm positive that's probably 20-30% of it. Acting.

Obviously you have to hit the shot which takes talent. But I haven't watched a basketball game all year. Seems like an athletic drama club these days.

Suns with a sweet win over OKC, looking like they will make the playoffs.
Im happy Indiana lost, Knicks missing the playoffs will be great.

Yeah, Indiana worries me. They are stagnant in their offense. They just don't move and have to shoot over the top of defenders all the time because there's no good screening or cutting going on.

Fools gold, don’t buy into it too much. They still have to play the Heat and OKC, Those are the kind of games that will let you know where they actually stand in the bigger picture.
Oh and the bulls are the only team in the east that can cause any trouble (outside of the heat obviously), and their team seems worn out. Pursuing the 1 seed may actually not be in their best interests.

Fridays Pacer's at Heat basically decides who will be the #1 seed. Pacer's up 1/2 a game currently
Who woulda thought the Spurs would have the best record in basketball

It was either going to be them or OKC. Miami and Indy are just too streaky. Clippers surprised me. They have collapsed in the playoffs the last few years but they seem a lot more cohesive this year.

How bout Griffin's ball handling last night? I was pretty impressed tbh...you can tell on the things he has focused to be better on this year such as mid range jumpers and handling. However, GO THUNDER!
Westbrook and KD were great as always last night.

Yea man; Griffin has really impressed me this year. He's improved so much on his jumpers as well as gotten better at defense. He's already a star, but I could see him dominating at his 3 or 4 spot in a couple years.
Did anyone see that his brother got signed for a 10 day contract last week? I haven't seen him play yet, and don't remember what team. He was a fucking baller in college though. --------------------
As far as the Thunder goes, I'm predicting them against the Spurs for WCF's, and the Spurs taking it in 5. Second prediction would be the Rockets. They've been great down the stretch so far.
Also welcome to the NBA thread D-App. I've been living in Miami for 20+ years so you know who I cheer for and have had season tickets for several years. Oh and btw, I can't stand Westbrook. He needs to be at the 2 spot instead of the PG. He's got so much talent but he needs to be a SG. A PG that doesn't pass isn't really a PG.

Blake Griffin playing a 3? Can he even play the perimeter? If he could shoot 3’s he would be right up there with Lebron and Durrant.
My only complaint with him is he is one of the worst floppers in the league.

He's been draining 3's recently. Have you been watching the Clips games?

Yeah, why would you want him on the 3 spot? Sure, it's nice if he can drain a three like Bosh does but I wouldn't want him to act like Bosh and move away from the block more and more...
