Sportscenter just grasps at straws for things to talk about. It's worthy.

Sports center is a business first and foremost. LBJ is the most known name in basketball, probably has the biggest fan base too, of course they talk about him nonstop.
It only bothers me when people start believing their bullshit. Of course the biggest and most well known is going to be the “greatest” just like what they do with peyton and derek jeter. Its a disservice to the guys that paved the way, but its one of those things that will never leave.
"AP all day, nah Barry Sanders was the real deal, Y’all youngins are ignorant Walter Peytons now that boy could run." Same with Wilt/Magic/Bird/Jordan/LBJ or whatever sport from whatever eras.

I'd like to see the spurs win another championship. Or okc to finally win one since they used to be the sonics.

Ild like to see OKC win because KD is the classiest athlete around at the moment, Spurs would be good too because Popovich is the last iconic coach left in sports, shit i wouldn’t even mind seeing LBJ cement his legacy. It would be hard to deal with the fanboys but it would be a hell of a story.
Paul george is an animal too, can’t count them boys out. Clippers finally have a real ass coach ah man.... Im just getting more and more excited for the playoffs every day. At least march madness starts soon. Im kinda hoping PDX fucks up and misses the playoffs cause one of my best friends moved to portland a few years back and has been talking shit on my jazz ever since
Also im kind of an adopted Arizona fan and that would help them.

I can't say that I'd like to see any other team win besides the one that I root for, but if the Heat weren't contenders, I agree that I'd like to see OKC win.
As I've said multiple times, KD is an amazing player. 2nd best player in the world right now. If LBJ keeps on going with this slump of his (20.1 pts/4 boards/5 assists) a game. KD is going to run away with the regular season MVP title.
I think about it and it's funny. If any other player was averaging those same numbers right now, they'd be a top 5 player in the NBA, but when LBJ does it, he's in a slump. Even though the heat have lost 4 of their last 5, Dwayne Wade has been playing amazing. He finally has that reverse pivot/fade away jumper working for him like in his early-mid 20's.
Well. I'm about to head downtown to get a few drinks and then go watch the game vs Nuggets. I feel like it's going to be a monster night for James. Cheers everyone. Have a great day.

Bulls player Dunleavy took an elbow above the eye that required 10 stitches and came back and scored 21 more points in the same game.
Respect.

Since when did the Cavaliers get Spencer Hawes? That is a huge move. I just saw he had a huge game with the Cavs beating Golden State
If the Cavs somehow managed to get LeBron and keep everyone they have right now, they would be NBA Finals contenders no doubt
They have serious depth at Center and have some great guards with Waiters, Irving, Jarrett Jack, and Deng... Add LeBron, then you have Hawes, Varejo, and young Zeller and Tristan Thompson at PF. Thompson being one of the most underrated PF's in the game
If only Bennett wasnt a complete bust.
God it would be amazing to somehow bring LeBron back to Cleveland

Not to bust your bubble, but if Lebron is going anywhere its New York. Any single team in the league that signed lebron would be finals contenders the next year, he’s that kind of player.

Yes, Cleveland has the money to sign a Max FA contract
And I think LeBron might still have a desire to win a championship for Cleveland since he did promise to win the city one before he left
Cleveland certainly has the pieces around him to help make it happen. They have good depth at just about every position on the floor. Add LeBron and they'd be set.
LeBron is a much better player now than he was when he first came into the league with the Cavs; his FT, FG, 3pt-FG percents are all higher, his assists/ rebounds are higher, and he is a much better defender.
He owes it to Cleveland to come back to the team who spent their #1 overall draft pick on him and win them a championship or two
-----------------------------------------------------------
I cant wait for the playoffs to start. The Western Conference is going to be fun to watch. Any of the current top 9 teams are capable of making it to the NBA finals, minus the Phoenix Suns. But even they can make a series interesting and maybe get into the 2nd round
The East is garbage. 2 good teams and 6 medoicre teams who probably wouldnt even have a shot at making the playoffs if they played in the West. The Bulls are about the only team that can even challenge one of the top 2

I can get that response from a fan, but as an outsider going back to cleveland would just seem ridiculous. There are so many better squads around the league. I think he would be a much bigger hero if he won for New York anyway, plus they have the market to support the kind of star he has become, and that is the embodiment of the game. Cleveland just doesn’t seem like the right place, but i would respect him if he did that, would be a classy move for sure.
West will be more exciting but i still think it will be dominated by the old guard. OKC and SA. LAC has some solid experience in place too.
I was hoping Brooklyn would have played much better. I guess with how old that team is, nothing should have been expected but you know how it is.

Probably but Golden State, The Mavs, and the Grizzlies are probably some of the most dangerous 6-8 seeds ever. I don't think Phoenix will make the playoffs and they would probably be the 4th or 5th in the east. The conferences are too unbalanced, I think the league needs to address this.
Also I think LBJ will probably just stay in Miami. Why fix what ain't broke?

Indiana keeps losing but so does Miami.. Miami has had many chances to gain control of the East and the #1 seed but have blown it

Maybe its not that important to them? Trying to make sure they will have enough in the tank come playoff time
Miami’s home court advantage isn’t a strong one anyway.
