Yeah, how often do you see an LBJ - Mozgov pick and roll? The few ones I have seen have looked great. Mozgov is such a great roll man with soft hands and finishing ability. Play the pick and roll, put three shooters around it. Isolate LBJ from time to time... That's what I would do anyways.

Lobs too.
Dellavadova seems super reliant on throwing the lob, and oftentimes its a shitty one. He’s trying to hit Thompson who kinda just sucks down low on offense. They need some size and those plays could actually work.
Plus hes a great shooter for a big. That small line up played right into GS’ run and gun philosophy.
I wanna see a lot more delly (whoever is hot) JR (Shumpert) Lebron---running the point Thompson Mozgov
Still has shooting but a strong inside presence as well.

Blatt quite pissy and super defensive at postgame press conference.
Knows he fucked up by not playing Moz.

Delly had one good game. I'd probably cut him and play LeBron on the point with Shumpert, JR, Thompson and Mozgov. I'd even consider sitting Thompson in favor of a third shooter in Jones or Miller. Imagine the spacing... Both corners filled, a safety, and LBJ and Mozgov running the high pick and roll.
But ultimately, the Cavs are just too short handed at the moment.

I like Delly, but I really don't think he's the player you're making him out to be, Elax. He's got heart, I can give him that but those wild drives ending in a circus layup attempt are hurting the team.
As far as Jones and Miller go, they are players I know really well from watching them play over 200 games in Miami. I think Miller needs to be playing around 20 minutes a game because he can and will get hot on the perimeter. Once he does, inside scoring by Moz and LBJ will open up like a whore's legs.
Coaching on the Cavs has been downright bad so far these Finals.

Wondering if you guys agree with what I keep hearing. LBJ can win the series MVP even in a losing cause if it goes 7 games and he plays well in game 7. But he shouldn't win it if they are eliminated in 6.
I've also been hearing that Iggy (can't spell his name) should be the MVP because when he cover's Lebron his shooting percentage is significantly lower.
One other thing. Two new coaches. Is Steve Kerr just better, or is the Cleveland coach the victim of the injuries?

Iggy has been great, his only problem is free throws. Dude went 2 for 11 last night, I think he missed like 7 in a row at one point.

It could very well happen from what I'm hearing as well, but I'm torn on whether it should. The best argument to me is that no matter how phenomenal LBJ plays, if Cleveland loses the series, no one will remember how incredible he played years from now. So the MVP would be a way to honor and remember what he did.
I tend to think it should go to Curry if they win, but I wouldn't be completely surprised if LeBron gets it. Or should I say is offered it. I'm not sure if he'd accept it in a losing effort in front ot Golden State fans.

Dude, I think it's ridiculous if a player on the losing team were to win the MVP.
What we have to remember is that the MVP isn't the best player, but the player that helped their team the most to get their wins.
LBJ falls into that category, but no win, no MVP.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if it happened though. Especially if the Warriors take the trophy home tonight in Cleveland and LBJ puts up another triple double.
I think it's completely out of line that the MVP is chosen by "a panel of nine media members." It should either be a fan vote online or a team vote by the team that wins the ring. Don't you guys think?
And does anyone here know who the hell these 9 media panelists are? This aspect of the NBA has always seemed a bit rigged to me.

I'd have to think that there is a lot more than just the MVP result that's rigged... I can't watch tonight. So I'll have to shut down all social media, switch off the scores in NBA game time, ignore everyone who likes basketball, and hope that my afterwork on demand wind down will remain spoiler free..!

Thats exactly what i said. They aren’t even layups its throw it up and hope it goes down either by lob to a better player or pure luck.
They need size. They need Mozgov Oh and by the way steph fucking sucks at taking it too the rim, and may very well be the softest superstar in the league, and GS IS the softest team. Thats saying something considering this dude and his team are in that same category (couldn’t find a small enough picture, *James Harden*)

If Steph wins finals MVP its yet another “MVP” He didn’t earn, and got through sheer popularity alone.
Both Iggy and LBJ have had better finals and their performances have been much more important to their respective teams. Steph could have sat out games 1-3 and it would have effected nothing.
James sits out and its a 4 game blowout sweep. Iggy out, James gets ring #3 and the GS dynasty is over before it even starts
I was going to say and claims the title GOAT, but he’s already done that. Even the announcers admit it.

I must of missed the post where you were talking about Delly.
Anyways, the whole MVP voting seems completely rigged for popularity for the past 15 years. It used to mean something up until the 90's...even into the early 00's. Then touchy feely, let's give each other hugs before games type of basketball came around and that award hasn't been worth shit since.
What do you think about LBJ winning MVP if the Cavs lose though? I think it's fucking crazy and shouldn't happen. I don't care who wins it but it need to be someone on the winning team.

Normally i would agree with you, but i dont know. If Lebron were to win this finals no one would even doubt it was the greatest finals performance of all time.
Steph has played a whole 2 QTRs of it so far, and does not deserve such a high accolade. Give it to 1. Iggy 2. Lebron 3. Steph Iggy has been the unheralded dude all season, came of the bench and shit. Give him his due because when it mattered he came up as big as anyone on the team.

Absolutely. If it's over tonight then Iguadala deserves it. Now, Curry had 41 points I think game 1 and 37 points game 5. Both MVP worthy performancew.
If it goes to 7 games and he pulls out 2 more performances like that, then it's the only way he would be truly be deserving of the MVP title.
On another note, I just caught LeBron's post game conference from game 5 earlier today. When they asked him if he was nervous/scared he just said "I'm not worried, I'm the best player in the world."
I loved that! It's true and he has every right in the world to say it. Fuck the haters saying he's getting too arrogant.

I would have loved it more if someone else had said it for him, but like you say, he has every right to say it!
I think the Cavs win tonight. LeBron will not allow them to go out like that in front of their fans.
I see LeBron tonight as Zeus -- shooting lightning bolts from his eyes.

Haha. I like that Zeus analogy. I have a feeling that the Cavs are going to win as well. They just really fucked up last game by switching up their rotation and playing really small.
They can't try to match the Warrior's tempo, they need to do what they've been doing and that is play their bigs and slow the tempo down themselves.
The pic you just posted brought back so many awesome memories from going to the playoffs in 2012. That Celtics vs Heat series was one of the most epic of the last decade. The only one that was better was the Heat vs Spurs finals series that they won. I will never forget the atmosphere inside the arena when Ray Ray drained that 3 from the corner to send game 6 into overtime and we went on to win the whole thing. Good times.

No. He was thoroughly outplayed by Lebron every game but game 5. Game 5 was really Lebron’s only bad game, you know he’s going to have a bounce back performance tonight.
Steph aint even on that level. 2 good Qtrs. In during that time he didn’t control the game like lebron did. Didn’t yall see lebron knock down that like 27 ft three? He isn’t even a three shooter but he had the best shot all night. The moment of the this playoffs for me is still Lebron changing Blatts play call and hitting a stepback game winner that was money from release over Jimmy Butler.
Fuck the Bulls!
Steph has that stepback behind the bak 3 shimmy shit. Thats it. Fucking wizardry but he’s gotten his pocket picked trying it multiple times, and he’s bricked it a lot. He has shot terrible this playoffs, till game 5. Delly still put up defensive plays on him last night too.

Boasting is distasteful no mater how true the statement is, if he’s gonna boast he should go all out and call out Steph Curry’s MVP. Either be the good guy or bad guy, you can’t say “I’m the best player in Basketball (and all time), but Steph Curry is the real MVP"
