Outside of getting that loose ball and hitting those free throws delly is an average player at best in the NBA. But yeah you're right he's the reason they pulled that off

Well ya just look at him. He never going to be a superstar, he can still be an effective role player though. Not every guy fits the mold of franchise player and Delly has been doing what needs to be done. He is just a scrappy motherfucker. I know you saw that finger roll, my words were “Delly wtf bro, pass it to Lebron! Holy shit that was a sweet move....."

Personally, I just think it is pretty cool the most improbable player came up huge on the biggest scene. When Kyrie went down everyone started talking about sweeps. Its level now though, and Cleveland has home court. With Kyrie healthy, I thought if Cleveland just pulled off one of the games the series was theirs for the taking.

If Lebron can consistently put up those kind of numbers this series, and I know thats a huge task, Cleveland is more than capable of winning.
Gotta give a shout out to Klay Thompson as well. I’m a frequent hater but you can’t deny he was on fire last night.

Yea, I think the fact that he had to sit down for a while early because of those 2 fouls had a huge impact on the game.

The thing is, Lebron had an amazing night yet they still barely won. That's gotta be frustrating. Plus Curry had a terrible game, you gotta think if he's making shots next game the Cavs really don't stand a chance.

I'm glad this is shaping up to be a great series!

Barely doesn’t matter though. You can just as easily say they barely lost game 1. I know we all like to do this in sports when our teams lose but qualifiers mean jack shit in the grand scheme of things. The funniest shit is when you hear people say, “The Patriots BARELY cheated...."

Thompson wont match that effort or number, in my opinion he just bailed out Steph’s poor play. Part of why Thompson went off was because of the heavy usage of J.R Smith (who actually played good last night). Shumpert is a much better defender and closed Klay out in game 1, plus they can limit his effectiveness by defensive schemes if Steph proves he can’t put up. I highly doubt that will be the case but shooters go cold sometimes and crazier things have happened.

Also,
Now the calls are more likely to go Clevelands way since they are hosting the next three games. I don’t think Cleveland can win all 3, but if they just win 2 they are still in really good shape.

(exactly why I called Cleveland in 6). If Kyrie and Love were healthy, I don’t even think this series would be a contest honestly. GS hasn’t played a healthy team in this playoffs and have completely avoided injury themselves somehow, sure history wont remember that but people who really pay attention to the game will. Thats not to say if they go on to win a championship it wasn’t a great feat, because they really fucking flew in under the radar this year. Like everyone knew they had potential and some serious talent, but no one in their right mind would expect a rookie coach to win it all his first year. Im just saying that moreso to temper expectations/exaggeration of dominance, than to diminish the quality of their play which has been superb.

Im sorry, but you aren’t "really" the Western Conference Champ in my eyes if you don’t beat KD and Westbrook, especially if you didn’t even beat CP3 and BG. Harden wasn’t taking the Rockets anywhere called that in November bruhh. Thumbs down on the Western Conference this year.

Yall better watch the fuck out next year though, we got ourselves a Hall of Fame quality prospect.

People on ESPN were asking "is the series over for cleveland?"  What a bunch of pretentious assholes.  What kind of idiot counts out lebron james like that?

Worst officiated game ever. Those refs allowed lebron to openly tackle someone and didn't call it a foul.

Stop bitching about officiating, Golden State got Skull Fucked again.... Learn the rules
Plus they never call moving screens on GS or fine Steph for flopping. That fall over after shooting a 3 shit is getting so gay. Bro we get it your good at shooting, you want to be Ray Allen. You Still got a long way to go young blood.

One more home win and this series is Clevelands.
This shit is a 4 blowout sweep with Kyrie, and Love on the court.

First two games were officiated very well with that one bad no call against lebron. But come on, he straight up tackles someone and then a foul was called against GS. If there was even a quarter of that much contact against lebron it would have been called so hard...

Golden state was getting destroyed the entire game until the 4th q.  The fact is Cleveland's white guy defending curry did an excellent job.

It isn't just the scoring. Although he has to carry that load also. His leadership is phenomenal. Probably the best since Bill Russell. (No, I'm not that old but I've seen docs)..

My god, LeBron has lost TWO All Stars from the starting lineup..but he's INSPIRED these other guys...I mean, they can play but still...

LeBron has lit their candles with his BLOWTORCH and they have created a firestorm and scorched these boys. Golden State has the better team. But this ain't LeBron's first rodeo. It IS for Curry.

That's the difference to me so far.

Lackluster playoffs. But incredible Finals so far.

:highfive:

Lebrons intangibles speak for themselves.

I was arguing with a friend the other day and he said that if you put Stephen curry on the cavs they'd still be in the finals  what a fuckin joke.

Delly comes up big, and gets the and one on Steph in the clutch :loldongs:

Going to be interesting to see how the Warriors play on their heels. Game 4 is now a must win for them

I love how Lebron gets one bad no call (because that jump ball was not some obvious or egregious foul) weighed against all the bullshit he is allowed to get away with.

and you want to talk about curry flopping? Flopping on the 3 is something every single player does to some degree if they are remotely touched. It is a possible 4 point play.

Im not even going to post the traveling lebron compilation because that shit is just always missed on everyone.

Lebron is a self-fulfilling prophecy. He is great, therefor everything he does is great and impeccable. He is so great, that times where it appears that he isn't great, there must be some reason such as a foul.

There are two sets of rules in the NBA, one for Lebron and one for everyone else. The No call against him in game 2, whatever... that happens to someone every single game and is understandable by the viewing angles of the ref's. However, slide tackling someone at the half court where everyone can see from any angle, is not something that happens often. If it was anyone else slide tackling, it would have been a foul. If it was anyone else slide tackling lebron like that, it would have been a flagrant 2.
