That must of been such a cool experience to have been a Bulls fan in the late 80's-early 90's.
The 3 Rings that we've won down here over the past 10 years have been some of my best memories. It's amazing how sports can make someone feel as a fan. It also helps that it has a correlation with sex for me.
Over the last 4 years, both times we won I ended up fucking some pretty good looking, random women right after the game. The 2 years we lost I just stayed home laying in a bed of sadness lol.

Word. All 3 of the Giants World Series runs will stick in my head forever, I still get chills just watching the highlights.

I watched Space Jam over and over when I got out of school. Does that count?

Absolutely.
Space Jam IS basketball. Anyone whose seen that movie has the utmost knowledge of Jordan and the NBA in general.

I hope it's a close and exciting series, which I think it will be.

I think it's gonna be a great series. I already put my money on GS despite my gut telling me the Cavs are gonna take it.
So my forecast is GS wins in an epic game 7 at home where Steph Curry hits a fadeaway 3 with LBJ guarding him as time expires.

Space Jam was literally all the basketball I could see... Dutch television only shows three sports: soccer, ice skating and tennis. No streaming yet either. That Space Jam VHS was the only thing I had. Besides downloading 240 kbps highlight clips of Vince Carter dunks. Three seconds each.

It couldn't be scripted any better than that.

No they weren't
Bill has yet to grasp the concept of elite superstars in comparison to very good players. Klove & Kyrie are indeed very good. Top 5 in the league at their respective positions, but far from superstars.

I miss the simpler times of my youth lol. I'll never forget the Space Jam soundtrack either. It was when Sony Discmans were just starting to become cheap and popular enough to own one.
I had a school field trip that was roughly 8 hours straight on a bus and I must have listened to this song a good 150 times over the course of my trip, Memories...

I think Kyrie is a hell of a player. Not so much over hyped, but it's just that he's a great PG, and only that.
To be a superstar in the NBA nowadays you have to be able to be dominant at 2 or 3 positions as well as play good defense. Either that or have a skill that no other players posses. For example, Curry and his jump shooting ability.
Love, in his prime was a top 3 player offensively. Unfortunately his lack of defense made it so he never had much of a chance of becoming elite.

Curry is unbelievable. The difference is the rebounding and defense. But Curry can absolutely light it up as well as anybody.

I'm an old crotchety cunt.
But when I consider all-time greats in any sport it's from reading and watching documentaries.
I think the NFL Network and NBA TV ought to start showing games from archive footage totally chosen by random by computer. Just put every game they got archived in a computer and once a week show one totally picked at random.
Like I could totally dig watching something like The Hawks Vs The Bullets mid season 1976 with no clue who's going to win or what.
Fuck classic games. I'd rather watch random games.

They do that. NBA hardwood classics on NBA TV.. I don't know how often they show them but I always seem to catch them.

Those games are not chosen at random. They're games with some kind of significance. Like Jordan scores 60 or whatever. Those are "classic" games. I want completely meaningless games chosen totally at random. Like I said.
